Omschrijving onderdeel 10 (bij Vierakkersestraatweg 36-38): BLOEMENKAS.
Naast de oranjerie (onderdeel 9) geplaatste bloemenkas met een glazen kap met in houten roeden gevatte glaspanelen op een in baksteen gemetselde grondvorm. De houten nok heeft een voluutvormige beëindiging aan beide zijden. Ook de korte wanden zijn in glas uitgevoerd; één van de zijden bevat de ingangspartij, de andere zijde bevat een uitgebouwd schuurachtig aanbouwtje. In het interieur bevindt zich een aantal ijzeren kolommen met smeedijzeren detaillering. Het interieur bevat verder in beton uitgevoerde plantenbakken.
WAARDERING
De BLOEMENKAS is in cultuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang vanwege:
- de hoofdvorm, de gaafheid en de zorgvuldigheid in de detaillering;

Description of component 10 (at Vierakkersestraatweg 36-38): FLOWER HOUSE.
Flower house placed beside the orangery (component 9) with a glazed roof with glass panes set in wooden glazing bars on a ground structure built in brick. The wooden ridge has a volute-shaped termination on both sides. The short walls are also executed in glass; one of the sides contains the entrance section, the other side contains an extended shed-like extension. In the interior are a number of iron columns with wrought-iron detailing. The interior further contains plant boxes executed in concrete.
VALUATION
The FLOWER HOUSE is of general importance in terms of cultural history because of:
- the main form, the intactness and the care in the detailing;
- as a functional-historical component of the historic kitchen garden;
- the high ornamental and ensemble value;
- the rarity value.
