Omschrijving onderdeel 9 (bij Vierakkersestraatweg 36-38): ORANJERIE.
Als ORANJERIE is in de 19de eeuw opgetrokken een muurkas die tegelijkertijd de afsluiting vormt van de bakstenen tuinmuur. Het gebouw heeft bakstenen gevels en een ongelijkvormig zadeldak met een in houten roeden gevat glazen dakschild op het zuiden. Het dakschild rust op de in beton uitgevoerde bakken die zich in het interieur bevinden. De van vlechtingen voorziene linker zijgevel bevat een ingangspartij. De rechter zijgevel is blind, maar heeft een portaalachtig uitbouwtje met een onduidelijke functie, alsmede een aangebouwde pomp.

Description component 9 (at Vierakkersestraatweg 36-38): ORANGERY.
As an ORANGERY, a wall case was erected in the 19th century that simultaneously forms the closure of the brick garden wall. The building has brick gables and an asymmetrical gabled roof with a glass roof panel set in wooden glazing bars on the south side. The roof panel rests on the concrete-constructed planters located in the interior. The left side gable, fitted with trellis work, contains an entrance section. The right side gable is blank but has a portico-like small extension with an unclear function, as well as an attached pump.
VALUATION
The ORANGERY is of general cultural-historical importance because of:
- the principal form, intactness and care in detailing;
- as a functionally-historical component of the historical kitchen garden;
- its high ornamental and ensemble value.
