Omschrijving onderdeel 3 (Vierakkersestraatweg 36-38): KOETSHUIS ANNEX BOUWHUIS MET VROEGERE KOETSIERSKAMER (MET IN IEDER EEN WONING NA 1950 INGERICHT) EN SCHUUR.
Rode bakstenen complex dat met het 32 meter lange front naar het voormalige voorplein van het aan het einde van de 19de eeuw afgebroken huis 't Suideras is gebouwd. Alhoewel de oorsprong van het complex ouder is dateert het aan de voor- en zijgevels met hoeklisenen omlijste hoofdgedeelte van het complex, het met een schilddak overkapte koetshuis met flankerende woningen, in zijn huidige verschijningsvorm uit de tweede helft van de 18de eeuw. Aan het begin van de 19de eeuw werd aan de achterzijde een driebeukige schuur onder zadeldak met wolfseind gebouwd, waardoor het complex in hoofdopzet de vorm van een T-boerderij kreeg. In de zuidwest-oksel van de T een rechthoekige tijdens de restauratie in 1985 tot eetkamer verbouwde wasplaats van de koetsen onder afgeplat schilddak. Links van deze wellicht uit 1815 daterende aanbouw is het dakschild van het koetshuis, vermoedelijk in de tijd van de aanbouw van de schuur, doorgetrokken tot het niveau van het dakschild van de schuur. Rechts van de schuur is het dakschild van het koetshuis aan de achterzijde gelijk als aan de voorzijde. De schilden zijn met gesmoorde Oud Hollandse pannen belegd. Op de nokeinden van het dak van het koetshuis en op het nokeinde van de schuur een vierkante schoorsteen onder kap met ingezwenkte vlakken (aangebracht c.q. gerestaureerd bij de restauratie in 1985). Centraal op de voorgevel (noordwest-gevel) van het koetshuis een monumentale zandstenen rocaille vaas in Lodewijk XV stijl in een nis met dito omlijsting. Dit ornamentele vaasstuk verleent deze gevel een grote beeldbepalende waarde. Aan weerszijden een rechte dubbele omlijste staldeur met in elke deur een gietijzeren roosvenster. Aan weerszijden hiervan de gelijke voorgevels van de twee woningen bestaande uit een omlijste paneeldeur met zesruits bovenlicht met links en rechts hiervan een vijftienruits schuifvenster. Op de kap boven de toegangsdeuren naar de dienstwoningen een licht getoogde dakkapel met wangen en zesruits venster (openslaand) en boven het ornamentstuk een iets grotere dakkapel, (twaalfruits schuifvenster) eveneens licht getoogd en bekroond door een koof. In de zijgevels van het koetshuis twee vensters als aan voorzijde. Bij de achtergevel links van de schuur de genoemde rechthoekige aanbouw met aan de achter (zuidoost-)zijde twee zesruits schuifvensters met luiken. Links hiervan in de achtergevel van het koetshuis twee meerruits vensters met luiken. In het gedeelte rechts van de schuur een hoog meerruits venster met luiken. Aan de achterzijde van het koetshuis de genoemde driebeukige SCHUUR. In de topgevel van de achtergevel drie in driehoeksverband geplaatste grote ronde vensters met stervormig roedenpatroon met in het midden een ruit. Rechts een rondboogdeur. De linker rondboogdeur gaat schuil achter een vermoedelijk al in de 18de eeuw hier gebouwde druivenkas (zie onderdeel 8). In de linker gevel van de vijf traveeën lange schuur in de vijfde travee de rechte in de gevel teruggeplaatste hoge rechte dubbele toegangsdeur, waardoor de vijfde travee het karakter van een dwarsdeel heeft. In de linker en rechtergevel enkele meerruits vensters en een enkele deur (links). In 1985 werd het koetshuis gerestaureerd, waarbij het complex inwendig ingrijpend werd gewijzigd. De in de voormalige paardenstal na 1949 gebouwde dienstwoning werd uitgebroken ten behoeve van de bouw van de huidige salon. Het achter de twee dubbele deuren aan de voorzijde gesitueerde koetshuis is inwendig in 2000 tot salon verbouwd.
WAARDERING
Het KOETSHUIS ANNEX BOUWHUIS MET VROEGERE KOETSIERSKAMER (MET IN IEDER EEN WONING NA 1950 INGERICHT) EN SCHUUR is in cultuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang:
- als gaaf bewaard voorbeeld van een koetshuis met bouwhuis van een Gelderse buitenplaats uit het tweede helft van de 18de eeuw;
- vanwege de hoge mate van gaafheid van het exterieur;
- vanwege de hoge beeldbepalende- en ensemblewaarden in de historische parkaanleg van 't Suideras;
- vanwege de ouderdom;

Description of component 3 (Vierakkersestraatweg 36-38): COACH HOUSE ANNEX BUILDING HOUSE WITH FORMER COACHMAN'S ROOM (EACH CONVERTED INTO A DWELLING AFTER 1950) AND BARN.
Red brick complex built with its 32-metre-long front towards the former forecourt of the house 't Suideras, demolished at the end of the 19th century. Although the origin of the complex is older, the main part of the complex framed with corner pilasters on the front and side facades, the coach house covered with a hipped roof with flanking dwellings, in its present appearance dates from the second half of the 18th century. At the beginning of the 19th century, a three-aisle barn with gabled roof and half-hipped roof was built on the rear side, whereby the complex acquired the main layout of a T-shaped farmhouse. In the southwest corner of the T a rectangular washing place for the coaches, converted to a dining room during the 1985 restoration, under a hipped roof. To the left of this addition, presumably dating from 1815, the roof ridge of the coach house, presumably at the time of the construction of the barn, has been extended to the level of the roof ridge of the barn. To the right of the barn, the roof ridge of the coach house at the rear is the same as at the front. The ridges are covered with suppressed Old Dutch tiles. On the ridge ends of the coach house roof and on the ridge end of the barn a square chimney under a cap with inswept planes (installed or restored during the 1985 restoration). Centrally on the front facade (northwest facade) of the coach house a monumental sandstone rocaille vase in Louis XV style in a niche with matching surround. This ornamental vase piece gives this facade great visual significance. On either side a straight double-framed stable door with a cast-iron grille window in each door. On either side of these the matching front facades of the two dwellings consisting of a framed panel door with six-pane fanlight with a fifteen-pane sash window on either side. On the roof above the access doors to the service dwellings a slightly curved roof dormer with cheeks and six-pane window (opening) and above the ornamental piece a slightly larger roof dormer (twelve-pane sash window) likewise slightly curved and crowned by a soffit. In the side facades of the coach house two windows as on the front. At the rear facade to the left of the barn the mentioned rectangular extension with on the rear (southeast) side two six-pane sash windows with shutters. To the left of these in the rear facade of the coach house two multi-pane windows with shutters. In the section to the right of the barn a tall multi-pane window with shutters. On the rear side of the coach house the mentioned three-aisle BARN. In the gable of the rear facade three large round windows placed in triangular bond with star-shaped glazing bars with a pane in the middle. To the right a round-arch door. The left round-arch door is hidden behind a grape house presumably built here in the 18th century (see component 8). In the left gable of the five-bay-long barn in the fifth bay the straight high straight double access door reset in the gable, whereby the fifth bay has the character of a transverse section. In the left and right gable a few multi-pane windows and a single door (left). In 1985 the coach house was restored, whereby the complex was extensively altered internally. The service dwelling built in the former horse stable after 1949 was demolished for the construction of the present salon. The coach house situated behind the two double doors at the front has been converted internally to a salon in 2000.
VALUATION
The COACH HOUSE ANNEX BUILDING HOUSE WITH FORMER COACHMAN'S ROOM (EACH CONVERTED INTO A DWELLING AFTER 1950) AND BARN is of general cultural-historical importance:
- as a well-preserved example of a coach house with building house of a Guelders country estate from the second half of the 18th century;
- because of the high degree of integrity of the exterior;
- because of the high visual and ensemble values in the historical park layout of 't Suideras;
- because of its age;
- because of the rare value of the 18th-century vase-shaped ornamental piece in Louis XV style as an integral part of the design of the coach house.
