De DUBBELE DIENSTWONING, is markant gelegen aan het einde van de oprijlaan ten zuiden van het spoorwegviaduct.
De éénlaagse dienstwoning uit 1863 bezit een rechthoekige plattegrond, is opgetrokken in baksteen en wordt gedekt door een met rode verbeterde Hollandse pannen belegd zadeldak, met de nok haaks op de oost-west lopende spoorlijn.
Als voorgevel van het dubbele pand wordt de zijde beschouwd die aan de hoofdlaan is gelegen. De gevel was ooit bepleisterd en toont nu het kruisverband in het metselwerk. De voordeur met zes ruitjes in het midden van de gevel wordt geflankeerd door twee zijlichten met luik. Met het tweeruits raam links zijn deze vensters onder een rollaag geplaatst. Rechts komt in de gevel nog een beluikt 2x(1+2) ruits venster voor. In het dakvlak komen drie moderne dakramen voor.
Van de linker zij(eind)gevel is alleen de begane grond gepleisterd. In de middenas is een segmentboogvormige deuropening waarboven een gevelsteen met jaartal '18 - 30-6 - 62'. Tussen de op beide hoeken voorkomende deurtje is nog een klein venster geplaatst. Op de verdieping zijn twee ramen. In de geveltop bevindt zich een halfrond raampje met vorktracering onder een uitgemetseld wenkbrauw-boogje. De flinke dakoverstek rust op uitstekende dakgordingen.
De plint van de achtergevel is uitgevoerd in schoon metselwerk. Hierboven bevindt zich van links naar rechts een 1x(1+2) ruits schuifraam, drie gedeelde raampjes onder een rollaag en geheel rechts naast het toiletraampje een moderne deur. In het dakvlak zijn drie veluxramen aangebracht.
De rechter zijgevel ligt evenwijdig aan de spoorlijn. Begane gronds komen twee 2x(1+2)ruits ramen voor onder een strek die is gevat tussen een uitgemetselde boog met schouders. De verdieping wordt beheerst door een triplet venster afgesloten door een begeleidende rollaag. Het geheel wordt beëindigd door een uitgemetselde schouderboog. In de geveltop is een rondvenster opgenomen met vorktracering onder een uitgemetseld wenkbrauw-boogje.
Waardering
De DUBBELE DIENSTWONING als onderdeel van de historische buitenplaats 'Mariëndaal' is van algemeen belang:

The DOUBLE SERVICE DWELLING is markedly situated at the end of the drive south of the railway viaduct.
The single-storey service dwelling from 1863 has a rectangular floor plan, is constructed in brick and is covered by a gabled roof laid with red improved Dutch tiles, with the ridge perpendicular to the east-west running railway line.
The side facing the main drive is considered the front facade of the double building. The facade was once plastered and now shows the cross-bond in the masonry. The front door with six panes in the middle of the facade is flanked by two side lights with shutters. With the two-pane window to the left, these windows are placed beneath a roll moulding. To the right there is another shuttered 2x(1+2) pane window in the facade. In the roof plane there are three modern roof windows.
Only the ground floor of the left side (end) facade is plastered. In the middle axis there is a segmental arch-shaped doorway above which is a facade stone with the date '18 - 30-6 - 62'. Between the small doors on both corners there is a small window. On the upper storey there are two windows. In the gable top there is a semi-circular window with fork tracery beneath an embossed eyebrow arch. The substantial roof overhang rests on projecting roof beams.
The plinth of the rear facade is executed in fair-faced masonry. Above this, from left to right, there is a 1x(1+2) pane sash window, three divided small windows beneath a roll moulding and far right next to the toilet window a modern door. In the roof plane three Velux windows have been installed.
The right side facade runs parallel to the railway line. On the ground floor there are two 2x(1+2) pane windows beneath a stretcher course set between an embossed arch with shoulders. The upper storey is dominated by a triplet window closed off by an accompanying roll moulding. The whole is completed by an embossed shoulder arch. In the gable top a circular window is incorporated with fork tracery beneath an embossed eyebrow arch.

The DOUBLE SERVICE DWELLING as part of the historic country estate 'Mariëndaal' is of general importance:
- on account of its aesthetic qualities in the special detailing of windows with embossed arches;
- as a good example of a characteristically preserved and characteristic service dwelling in its main form;
- on account of the historical-functional coherence of the dwelling as part of the country estate Mariëndaal;
