Omschrijving onderdeel 6: TOEGANGSHEK.
Smeedijzeren TOEGANGSHEK uit de 18de eeuw, gelegen aan het jaagpad langs de Vecht. Het toegangshek is geplaatst op een met een duiker uitgeruste gemetselde overspanning over een sloot die het buiten aan de zuidwestzijde begrensd. Aanvankelijk vormde het de hoofdentree van de buitenplaats die direct leidde naar het hoofdhuis.
De halfronde vorm van de gemetselde zijden van de brug, die haaks staan op de stroom zijn van hardstenen dekplaten voorzien. In het midden van de vaste oeververbinding bevindt zich het hek met dubbele deuren waarin spijlen en ovalen. De draaihekken zijn gevat tussen rijk geornamenteerde kolommen en geplaatst onder dubbele regels met sierlijke bekroning voorstellend een zon met gouden stralen en een afsluitende gravenkroon. De kolommen worden bekroond door gesmede ijzeren opzetstukken die een toren of burcht voorstellen waaruit doorntakken oprijzen. De zijden van de kolommen zijn bezet met boven het midden van de sloot uitstekende wangstukken.

Description of component 6: ACCESS GATE.
Wrought-iron ACCESS GATE from the 18th century, located on the towpath along the Vecht. The access gate is placed on a masonry span equipped with a culvert over a ditch that borders the property on the southwestern side. Originally it formed the main entrance of the country estate that led directly to the main house.
The semicircular shape of the masonry sides of the bridge, which stand perpendicular to the stream, are provided with hardstone coping plates. In the middle of the permanent bank connection is the gate with double doors in which bars and ovals are incorporated. The hinged gates are set between richly ornamented columns and placed beneath double rules with ornamental crowning representing a sun with golden rays and a concluding count's crown. The columns are crowned with forged iron ornamental pieces that represent a tower or castle from which thorn branches rise. The sides of the columns are decorated with cheek pieces projecting above the middle of the ditch.
