Omschrijving onderdeel 8: (Straatweg 17a; op de bijbehorende kaart aangegeven met nr.8) ORANJERIE. Ten noorden van het huis gelegen 18de-eeuwse oranjerie, die in de tweede kwart van de 19de eeuw met een Chinese koepel werd uitgebreid. Thans in gebruik als woning. Op rechthoekige grondslag opgetrokken bakstenen, deels (roze) gepleisterde, oranjerie van één bouwlaag onder een met Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak. In de zuidgevel vijf grote vensters met roedenverdeling. Rechts tegen het vijfde venster een halfronde koepelvormige uitbouw met omlopende galerij in Chinese stijl. De uitbouw, die deels boven de sloot is gebouwd, heeft drie tuindeuren met roedenverdeling en rondboog bovenlichten. In de kopgevel (oost) een boogvenster in Serlio-motief en een dakkapel. In de westgevel een deur en een dakkapel. Aanbouw noordgevel uit 1954 en om die reden van ondergeschikte betekenis.

Description of component 8: (Straatweg 17a; indicated on the accompanying map with no. 8) ORANGERY. Located to the north of the house, an 18th-century orangery which was extended in the second quarter of the 19th century with a Chinese cupola. Currently in use as a residence. Erected on a rectangular base from brick, partly (pink) rendered, orangery of one storey beneath a gabled roof covered with Dutch tiles. In the south facade five large windows with glazing bars. To the right of the fifth window a semicircular cupola-shaped extension with a surrounding gallery in Chinese style. The extension, which is partly built above the moat, has three garden doors with glazing bars and arched fanlights. In the end gable (east) an arched window in Serlio motif and a dormer. In the west facade a door and a dormer. Extension on north facade from 1954 and for that reason of subordinate significance.
