Omschrijving onderdeel 2.
HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG, aangelegd tussen circa 1890-1910; het belangrijkste deel van de aanleg in landschappelijke stijl is de reeks sierweilanden, die zich -vanuit het huis gezien- oostwaarts uitstrekt en omzoomd is door slingerende stroken bos. Solitairen, soms uit de bosrand springend, stofferen de weiden. De compositie van deze langgerekte aanleg is van een hoge kwaliteit. Langs de weiden loopt een parcours van slingerpaden, die soms even het bos induiken en dan weer op de rand van wei en bos lopen. Ook is er, ongeveer halverwege de lengte van de aanleg, een doorsteek. Ten noordwesten van het huis ligt in het bos een grote vijver met slingerende uitlopers, onderdeel van de waterloop van de Loopgraaf; vanuit het huis is er een gezicht op deze vijverpartij. Verder liggen er ten oosten van de vijver, tussen de Loofaert (weg) en Loopgraaf, enkele grote sierweiden en bospercelen, die niet direct vanuit het huis zichtbaar zijn. Schuin vanaf de Hasseltse Dijk loopt er een rechte oprijlaan met enkele rijen eiken naar het poortje naast het koetshuis (zie onder 3); de laan heeft een puinverharding; ten noorden van de laan ligt het terrein van de voormalige moestuin; ten zuiden van de laan ligt een driehoekige bomenwei met eiken. In het park zijn behalve solitairen van inheemse soorten en bossen bestaande uit eiken, dennen en beuken ook solitairen van diverse uitheemse soorten geplant zoals de sequoia. Ook staat er een Weymouth-den. Naast de parkaanleg ten oosten van het hoofdgebouw is er de aanleg ten zuiden van de Wambergsche Beek, een groot akkergebied op een min of meer driehoekige plattegrond met fraai aangelegde boomgroepen en solitairen en met een directe zichtrelatie met het hoofdgebouw.
Waardering
De HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG is in cultuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang vanwege de ouderdom, de fraaie landschappelijke aanleg in Engelse landschapsstijl ten oosten van het huis, de visuele relatie met het omringende landschap bestaande uit de zichtassen en de ensemblewaarde met de gebouwde objecten.

HISTORIC GARDEN AND PARK LAYOUT, laid out between circa 1890-1910; the most important part of the layout in the landscape style is the sequence of ornamental meadows, which extends eastwards from the house and is bordered by meandering strips of woodland. Specimen trees, sometimes emerging from the woodland edge, furnish the meadows. The composition of this elongated layout is of high quality. Along the meadows runs a course of winding paths, which sometimes dip briefly into the woodland and then run along the edge of meadow and woodland again. There is also, approximately halfway along the length of the layout, a cross-path. To the northwest of the house lies a large pond in the woodland with meandering extensions, part of the watercourse of the Loopgraaf; from the house there is a view of this pond area. Furthermore, to the east of the pond, between the Loofaert (road) and Loopgraaf, there are several large ornamental meadows and woodland parcels, which are not directly visible from the house. Diagonally from the Hasseltse Dijk a straight approach avenue with several rows of oaks leads to the gate beside the carriage house (see under 3); the avenue has a gravel surface; to the north of the avenue lies the site of the former vegetable garden; to the south of the avenue lies a triangular tree meadow with oaks. In the park, apart from specimen trees of native species and woodlands consisting of oaks, pines and beeches, specimen trees of various non-native species are also planted, such as the sequoia. There is also a Weymouth pine. Adjacent to the park layout to the east of the main building is the layout to the south of the Wambergsche Beek, a large arable area on a roughly triangular ground plan with beautifully arranged tree groups and specimen trees and with a direct visual relationship with the main building.

The HISTORIC GARDEN AND PARK LAYOUT is of general cultural-historical importance because of its age, the beautiful landscape layout in English landscape style to the east of the house, the visual relationship with the surrounding landscape consisting of sight lines and the ensemble value with the built objects.
