Omschrijving onderdeel 1.
HOOFDGEBOUW; in oorsprong laat XVI, in latere eeuwen meerdere malen vergroot, resp. veranderd (in 1769, 1895 en 1920). Bakstenen gebouw op L-vormige plattegrond met in de oksel een 8-hoekig traptorentje onder puntdak. Het oudste deel heeft twee trapgevels met ertussen een met leien gedekt zadeldak; hardstenen deuromlijsting met bovenlicht, boven één van de topgevels een hardstenen wapenleeuwtje. In de oostgevel drie venstertogen met natuursteen blokken. De nieuwere delen van het gebouw zijn in dezelfde bouwtrant opgetrokken, c.q. gewijzigd en bestaan uit één bouwlaag; erboven een kapverdieping met Vlaamse gevels en bezitten ramen met roedenverdeling. De jongste aanbouw daterend uit 1920 heeft een traptoren. In de oudste vleugel een schouw met aan weerszijden een zitnis (17de eeuw). In de vleugel uit 1769 een kamer met vaste glazen kast en gebroken fronton. Het huis ligt op een omgracht terrein, waarop in het begin van de 20e eeuw een verdiepte geometrische tuin aangelegd is; hiervan resteren alleen enkele bakstenen trapjes en keermuurtjes met stenen ballen.

Het HOOFDGEBOUW is in cultuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang vanwege de ouderdom, heeft architectuurhistorische waarde vanwege de karakteristieke architectuur en is in cultuur- en architectuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang als middelpunt van de historische parkaanleg.

MAIN BUILDING; originally late 16th century, enlarged and altered several times in later centuries (in 1769, 1895 and 1920). Brick building on an L-shaped ground plan with an octagonal small stair tower under a pointed roof in the corner. The oldest part has two stepped gables with a gabled roof covered in slate between them; ashlar door surround with fanlight, above one of the top gables a small ashlar armorial lion. In the east gable three window bays with natural stone blocks. The newer parts of the building are constructed in the same architectural style, respectively altered, and consist of one storey; above it an attic storey with Flemish gables and having windows with glazing bars. The youngest extension dating from 1920 has a stair tower. In the oldest wing a chimney with a window seat on either side (17th century). In the wing from 1769 a room with a fixed glass cabinet and broken pediment. The house stands on an enclosed site, on which a sunken geometric garden was laid out in the early 20th century; of this only some brick steps and retaining walls with stone balls remain.
