Omschrijving onderdeel 4: NOORDELIJK BIJGEBOUW.
Bakstenen witgepleisterd gebouw op rechthoekige grondslag van een enkele bouwlaag onder met grijze pannen gedekt dubbel schilddak. Het noordelijke bijgebouw werd in verband met de oorspronkelijke functie twee maal zo breed opgetrokken als het zuidelijke bijgebouw. De gevels worden afgesloten door een kroonlijst waarin goot. Het bijgebouw is in de bouwcampagne van het huis samen met het zuidelijke bijgebouw in 1790 opgetrokken. Oorspronkelijk bevatte het bijgebouw het koetshuis en de paardenstal. In 1898 diende het bijgebouw tevens als woning van de jager. In de jaren '80 van de 20ste eeuw is het bijgebouw gerestaureerd en dient onder meer als woning van de tuinbaas.
Het noordelijke bijgebouw is samen met het zuidelijke bijgebouw symmetrisch haaks ten opzichte van het hoofdgebouw geplaatst en maakt als zodanig deel uit van een in origine Frans-classicistisch concept van een ensemble van hoofd- en bijgebouwen, dat loodrecht op de hoofdas van een historische parkaanleg is gesitueerd.
Voor(oprit-)gevel: centraal drie achtruits Empire-vensters met aan weerszijden een dubbele halfronde poortdeur. Rechter gevel: een enkel zesruits Empire-venster. Achtergevel: centraal de entreedeur met bovenlicht voorzien van een omlijsting en aan weerszijden en zesruits Empire-venster. Linker gevel: drie zesruits Empire-vensters. De vensters zijn voorzien van persiennes.
Waardering
Het NOORDELIJK BIJGEBOUW van de historische buitenplaats Burgst is van algemeen belang vanwege:
- de ensemblewaarde die het bijgebouw samen met het hoofdhuis en zuidelijk bijgebouw vertegenwoordigt;

Description
Description of component 4: NORTHERN OUTBUILDING.
Whitewashed brick building on rectangular foundation of a single storey under a grey tile-covered double hipped roof. The northern outbuilding was erected twice as wide as the southern outbuilding in connection with the original function. The gables are finished with a cornice containing a gutter. The outbuilding was erected together with the southern outbuilding in the building campaign of the house in 1790. Originally the outbuilding contained the carriage house and the horse stable. In 1898 the outbuilding also served as the residence of the gamekeeper. In the 1980s the outbuilding was restored and serves among other things as the residence of the head gardener.
The northern outbuilding is placed symmetrically at right angles to the main building together with the southern outbuilding and as such forms part of an originally French-Classicist concept of an ensemble of main and outbuildings, situated perpendicular to the main axis of a historical park layout.
Front (drive) gable: centrally three eight-light Empire windows with on either side a double semi-circular arched door. Right gable: a single six-light Empire window. Rear gable: centrally the entrance door with fanlight provided with a surround and on either side a six-light Empire window. Left gable: three six-light Empire windows. The windows are fitted with shutters.

The NORTHERN OUTBUILDING of the historic country estate Burgst is of general importance because of:
