Omschrijving onderdeel 7: BOERDERIJ DE KLEINE HOEVE.
Ten oosten van landhuis Burgst in het buitenpark gesitueerde rode bakstenen boerderij van één verdieping op rechthoekige grondslag onder met grijze pannen gedekt breed zadeldak met schoorsteen op de nokeinden. Aan de voor(west-) en zijgevels meerruits vensters. Aan de zuidgevel de entree met een dubbel bovenlicht. Aansluitend aan de achterzijde een thans stenen tussenlid (oorspronkelijk hout) dat het voorhuis met het haaks erop gesitueerde stalgedeelte verbindt. Dit stalgedeelte, dat oorspronkelijk eveneens van hout was, is overkapt door een rieten schilddak waarvan het noordelijke schild is afgewolfd. Tussenlid en stalgebouw vallen onder de bescherming voor zover het de oorspronkelijke constructie betreft.
Het voorhuis werd opgetrokken in 1790, nadat een brand een voorganger van de boerderij geheel vernielde. De boerderij heeft een belangrijke beeldbepalende waarde in de aanleg van het buitenpark, en maakte oorspronkelijk deel uit van de wandeling in landschapsstijl vanuit het binnenpark door het buitenpark.

Description of component 7: FARMHOUSE DE KLEINE HOEVE.
Farmhouse situated to the east of country house Burgst in the outer park, of red brick, one storey on rectangular foundation under a broad grey tile-covered gabled roof with chimneys on the ridge ends. On the front (west) and side gables multi-light windows. On the south gable the entrance with a double fanlight. Adjacent to the rear a now stone linking section (originally timber) connecting the front house with the stabled section situated at right angles to it. This stabled section, which was originally also of timber, is covered by a thatched hipped roof of which the northern slope is hipped. Linking section and stable building are covered by the protection insofar as the original construction is concerned.
The front house was erected in 1790, after a fire completely destroyed a predecessor of the farmhouse. The farmhouse has an important character-defining value in the layout of the outer park, and originally formed part of the walk in landscape style from the inner park through the outer park.
