Omschrijving onderdeel 6. Hekpijlers (Hal by 13A, 5296 PZ Esch, op de bijbehorende kaart aangegeven met nr. 6).
Ter afsluiting van de eikenlaan aan de oostzijde bij de Rijksweg A2 staan twee 19de-eeuwse HEKPIJLERS van baksteen met natuurstenen voet- en dekplaat. Het spijlenhek is opnieuw gemaakt en als zodanig voor de bescherming van ondergeschikt belang.

De HEKPIJLERS behorend tot de historische buitenplaats Den Eikenhorst zijn van belang:

At the termination of the oak avenue on the east side at the Rijksweg A2 stand two 19th-century GATE PIERS of brick with natural stone base and coping plates. The railing is newly made and as such of secondary importance for the protection.
