Omschrijving onderdeel 4. Kinderspeelhuis (Hal by 13A, 5296 PZ Esch, op de bijbehorende kaart aangegeven met nr. 4).
Ten zuiden van het hoofdgebouw staat een op vierkante plattegrond opgetrokken, 19de-eeuws bakstenen speelhuisje onder een met blauwe pannen gedekt zadeldak met schoorsteen op de nok. Het huisje heeft een zwarte plint; de linkerzijgevel is wit geschilderd, de voorgevel is versierd met wit geschilderde decoraties. Aan de oostzijde een overstek en windveren. In de voorgevel een keperboogvormige deuropening en klein spitsboog zijlicht. De linker zijgevel met een gotisch venster en een dichtgezet venster. De achtergevel met een dubbele deur met smal bovenlicht waarin boogroeden. Inwendig een stookplaats.

Het Kinderspeelhuis behorend tot de historische buitenplaats Den Eikenhorst is van cultuurhistorisch belang:

Description component 4. Children's playhouse (Hal by 13A, 5296 PZ Esch, indicated on the accompanying map with no. 4).
South of the main building stands a 19th-century brick playhouse erected on a square plan beneath a gabled roof covered with blue tiles with chimney on the ridge. The small house has a black plinth; the left side facade is painted white, the front facade is decorated with white-painted decorations. On the east side an eaves projection and wind braces. In the front facade a chevron-arched doorway and small pointed-arched sidelight. The left side facade with a gothic window and a blocked-up window. The back facade with a double door with narrow fanlight with glazing bars. Internally a firebox.
