Inleiding
Traditionele, dubbele AARDAPPELBEWAARPLAATS, onderdeel van een boerderijcomplex voor de akkerbouw. De luchtgekoelde aardappelbewaarplaats, met middenruimte dateert van 1953 en is van het type J en werd gebouwd naar ontwerp van de Bouwkundige Afdeling (boerderijenbouw) van de Directie van de Wieringermeer afdeling Noordoostpolderwerken. De bewaarplaats staat links van de boerderij.
Omschrijving
De symmetrische, vanuit een rechthoekige plattegrond opgetrokken dubbele aardappelbewaarplaats is samengesteld uit twee smalle, onder met golfplaat gedekte zadeldaken staande loodsen, die aan elkaar zijn gekoppeld door een onder plat dak staande middenruimte met openslaande inrijdeuren in beide kopse zijden. De betonnen gevels bestaan uit geprofileerde betonelementen en zijn nagenoeg blind. Elk van de vier identieke kopgevels van de bewaarplaats bevat een klapluik, dat pal onder een voorschot van damwandprofielen staat. Deze rood geschilderde geveltoppen hebben een kleine punt als bekroning. Op elke nok staan vier ronde, door een schotelvormig kapje afgedekte ventilatiekokers van asbest. De platte middenruimte heeft twee houten kopse zijden, die grotendeels zijn ingevuld met dubbele inrijdeuren. In de naar de weg gekeerde inrijdeuren staat bovendien een klein klinket dat grotendeels bestaat uit een damwandprofiel. Het inwendige van de aardappelbewaarplaats is voor de bescherming van ondergeschikt belang.
Waardering
De aardappelbewaarplaats is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische en de architectuurhistorische waarde.

The air-cooled potato storage facility, with central space dates from 1953 and is of type J and was built according to a design by the Building Department (farmstead construction) of the Directorate of the Wieringermeer section Northeast Polder Works. The storage facility stands to the left of the farmhouse.
Description
The symmetrical double potato storage facility, erected from a rectangular ground plan, is composed of two narrow sheds covered with corrugated metal and standing under gabled roofs, which are coupled to each other by a central space standing under a flat roof with opening loading doors on both gable ends. The concrete facades consist of profiled concrete elements and are almost completely solid. Each of the four identical gable ends of the storage facility contains a hinged flap, positioned directly below a projection of sheet piling profiles. These red-painted gable tops have a small point as a crowning feature. On each ridge stand four round ventilation tubes of asbestos, each covered by a bowl-shaped cap. The flat central space has two wooden gable ends, which are largely filled with double loading doors. In the loading doors facing the road there is moreover a small inspection hatch that largely consists of a sheet piling profile. The interior of the potato storage facility is of secondary importance for protection purposes.
