VIER TUINVAZEN (BALUSTRADE TERRAS) behorende tot de buitenplaats Nijenhuis.
Op de balustrade van het verhoogde terras achter het huis bevinden zich vier schaalvormige tuinvazen uit de late 19de eeuw. De vazen lijken gegoten van betonachtig materiaal en hebben een rechthoekig geschulpte rand. Ze zijn van hun voet ontdaan om op de balustrade geplaatst te kunnnen worden. Oorspronkelijk stonden deze vazen met voet op de kademuur (foto's late 19de eeuw). Vermoedelijk maakten deze vazen deel uit van het ontwerp van Poortman uit 1889 en waren zij inbegrepen in een zending tuinvazen die op 28 mei 1889 geleverd werd door de firma Villeroy und Boch uit Merzig a/d Saar.

De VIER TUINVAZEN (BALUSTRADE TERRAS) behorende tot de buitenplaats Nijenhuis zijn van algemeen belang:

FOUR GARDEN URNS (TERRACE BALUSTRADE) belonging to the country estate Nijenhuis.
On the balustrade of the raised terrace behind the house are located four bowl-shaped garden urns from the late 19th century. The urns appear to be cast from a concrete-like material and have a rectangular fluted rim. They have been deprived of their base in order to be placed on the balustrade. Originally these urns with base stood on the quay wall (photographs from late 19th century). Presumably these urns formed part of the design by Poortman from 1889 and were included in a shipment of garden urns delivered on 28 May 1889 by the company Villeroy und Boch from Merzig on the Saar.
