Ten westen van het hoofdgebouw wordt het voorplein afgesloten door een in aanleg symmetrisch POORTGEBOUW, dat aan de zuidzijde verlengd is met een dienstwoning. Het onderkelderde poortgebouw is gebouwd op rechthoekige grondslag en opgetrokken uit rode baksteen. Het bestaat uit één bouwlaag en een zolder onder een met gesmoorde Hollandse pannen gedekt mansardedak. In de symmetrische voorgevel centraal een poort, die de verbinding vormt tussen de noordelijke toegangslaan en het voorplein. Rond de poortdoorgang een classicistische omlijsting bekroond door een timpaan met rond venster. Daarboven, op de nok van het dak, een houten klokkentorentje met slanke spits. Ter weerszijden van de poort een schuifvenster met kleine roedenverdeling en een eenvoudige toegangsdeur met meerruits bovenlicht; aan de uiteinden van de gevel twee paar dubbele koetsdeuren met meerruits bovenlicht. Boven de binnenste koetsdeuren forse dakkapellen (halverwege de daklijst aangebracht), waarin een dubbel venster met bovenlicht (kleine roedenverdeling), voorzien van luiken. Diverse dak- en tuimelramen.
De achtergevel is in aanleg eveneens symmetrisch. De omlijsting van de centraal gelegen poort is identiek aan de voorzijde. Ter weerszijden van de poort een rond venster met kruisvormige roedenverdeling. Voorts links en rechts een schuifvenster, waarbij het linker (noord) een kleine en het rechter (zuid) een grotere (empire-) roedenverdeling heeft. In de rechter zijgevel (noord) twee schuifvensters als in de voorgevel en een keldervenster. Op het dak een eenvoudige kapel met dubbel venster met kleine roedenverdeling.
Aan de linker zijde (zuid), aansluitend op het poortgebouw, een iets terugliggende dienstwoning, die in vormgeving het poortgebouw volgt. Aan de voorzijde twee schuifvensters met kleine roedenverdeling als in de voorgevel, voorzien van persiennes. In de linker zijgevel twee schuifvensters als in de voorgevel, waarvan één met persiennes. Op het dak een kapel als aan de rechter (noord)zijde. Aan de achterzijde een empirevenster als eerder genoemd en voorts twee kleinere (ontluchtings)vensters en een keldervenster. Het poortgebouw dateert uit de 18de eeuw.

West of the main building, the forecourt is closed off by a symmetrically planned GATEHOUSE, which is extended on the south side with a service dwelling. The cellared gatehouse is built on a rectangular ground plan and constructed of red brick. It consists of one storey and an attic under a mansard roof covered with pantiles. In the symmetrical front facade, a gate centrally placed, which forms the connection between the northern access drive and the forecourt. Around the gate passage a classicistic frame crowned by a pediment with a round window. Above it, on the roof ridge, a wooden bell turret with slender spire. On either side of the gate a sash window with small glazing bars and a simple entrance door with multi-pane fanlight; at the ends of the facade two pairs of double coach doors with multi-pane fanlight. Above the inner coach doors substantial roof dormers (placed halfway down the roof line), containing a double window with fanlight (small glazing bars), fitted with shutters. The rear facade is also symmetrically planned. The frame of the centrally located gate is identical to the front. On either side of the gate a round window with cross-shaped glazing bars.
