De in 1908 door architect H. Kroes ontworpen PASTORIE van de St. Barabarakerk staat links van de kerk op de hoek Koninginnenlaan/Dorpsstraat. Het pand is opgetrokken op een vierkante plattegrond en telt twee bouwlagen onder een met leien gedekt schilddak. Aan de west- en oostzijde doorbreken grote schoorstenen het dakvlak. Aan de westzijde is een tussenlid van een bouwlaag onder zadeldak gezet dat de hoofdingang bevat en de verbinding vormt met de kerk. De vensterindeling van het gebouw is regelmatig, met gekoppelde schuifvensters met glas-in-lood in de vaste bovenramen onder segmentboogvormige ontlastingsbogen. De voorgevel of noordgevel heeft rechts een risaliet met topgevel en steekkap. In elke bouwlaag zijn twee vensters aangebracht. De oostgevel bevat in de eerste bouwlaag twee vensters en in de tweede bouwlaag twee enkele vensters. Tegen de achtergevel (zuid) is een twee bouwlagen tellende uitbouw onder plat dak gezet. Het tussenlid bevat links de hoofdingang naar de pastorie. Rechts heeft de gevel twee tweelichts vensters en een deur, alle voorzien van een hardstenen latei aan de bovenzijde met daarboven spitsboogvensters met glas-in-lood. De indeling van het interieur is nagenoeg oorspronkelijk.

Description
The PARSONAGE of the St. Barbarakerk, designed in 1908 by architect H. Kroes, stands to the left of the church at the corner of Koninginnenlaan/Dorpsstraat. The building is erected on a square ground plan and comprises two storeys under a slate-covered hipped roof. Large chimneys on the west and east sides break through the roof plane. On the west side, an intermediate section of one storey under a gabled roof has been placed containing the main entrance and forming the connection with the church. The window arrangement of the building is regular, with paired sash windows with leaded glass in the fixed upper frames under segmental arch lintels. The front facade or north facade has a risalit on the right with a peaked gable and sloping roof. Two windows are installed in each storey. The east facade contains two windows in the first storey and two single windows in the second storey. Against the rear facade (south) a two-storey extension under a flat roof has been added. The intermediate section contains the main entrance to the parsonage on the left. On the right, the facade has two two-light windows and a door, all provided with a hardstone lintel at the top with pointed arch windows with leaded glass above. The interior layout is virtually original.
Valuation
The parsonage is of general importance owing to its architectural-historical value as an example of a parsonage in late neo-gothic style by architect H. Kroes, as well as for its ensemble value in relation to the church.
