Omschrijving onderdeel 2: op de bijbehorende kaart aangegeven met nr. 2) HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG behorende tot de buitenplaats Boom en Bosch. De historische tuin- en parkaanleg in landschappelijke stijl is thans beperkt tot de ruimte ten westen van het hoofdgebouw. De ruimte ten oosten van het huis kende oorspronkelijk eveneens een landschappelijke aanleg. Dit deel van het park kreeg na de restauratie en uitbreiding van het hoofdgebouw (jaren '80 van de 20ste eeuw) echter een nieuwe inrichting in een historiserende formele stijl naar een ontwerp van de firma Copijn. Het landschappelijke park wordt gekenmerkt door een enigszins glooiende, grote open ruimte begroeid met gras en omzoomd door hoog geboomte. Langs de zuidoostelijke strook van het terrein vormt deze gesloten groene wand de begrenzing van een daar achter gelegen klein wandelbos, met door eiken begeleide paden. Tussen de bomen ligt enigszins verhoogd een muziektent. Centraal in de open ruimte een boom- en heestergroep met gevarieerde samenstelling. Langs de wandelingen die om en over deze open ruimte voeren enkele monumentale solitairen (linde, beuk, exoten) en boomgroepen. Ter weerszijden van het toegangshek een monumentale kastanje (links) en een monumentale linde (rechts). In het zuidwesten wordt het park visueel begrensd door een landschappelijk vergraven sloot. Aan de overzijde van de sloot een groep oude beuken en een monumentale plataan en kastanje. Er zijn diverse zichtlijnen vanuit het huis in het park en vice versa. De ouderdom van de houtopstand gaat ten dele terug tot de tijd van de aanleg van het park, vermoedelijk de eerste helft van de 19de eeuw. Enkele bomen zijn mogelijk nog ouder. Ten oosten van het huis staat aan de Vecht een tuinhek geflankeerd door een stel vazen op piedestals, welke reeds op 18de- en 19de- eeuwse prenten staan afgebeeld.
De oprijlaan alsmede het voorplein en de verkeersruimtes tussen hoofdgebouw en koetshuis zijn geasfalteerd.
Waardering De HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG behorende tot de buitenplaats Boom en Bosch is van algemeen belang:
- Vanwege de ontwikkelingsgeschiedenis;
- Vanwege de ouderdom van de houtopstand, die deels teruggaat tot de tijd van de aanleg (eerste helft 19de eeuw);
- Als representatief en vrij gaaf bewaard voorbeeld van een landschappelijk park uit de eerste helft van de 19de eeuw.
- Vanwege de visueel-ruimtelijke samenhang met de andere onderdelen van de buitenplaats;
- Als representatief voorbeeld van een historiserende tuinrestauratie uit de jaren '80 van de 20ste eeuw;

Description component 2: indicated on the accompanying map with no. 2) HISTORIC GARDEN AND PARK LAYOUT belonging to the country estate Boom en Bosch. The historic garden and park layout in the landscape style is currently limited to the space west of the main building. The space east of the house originally also had a landscape layout. However, after the restoration and extension of the main building (1980s), this part of the park received a new design in a historicising formal style according to a design by the firm Copijn. The landscape park is characterised by a gently sloping, large open space covered with grass and bordered by tall trees. Along the southeastern strip of the terrain, this closed green wall forms the boundary of a small wooded walking area behind it, with paths flanked by oaks. Between the trees, somewhat elevated, stands a music pavilion. Central in the open space a group of trees and shrubs with varied composition. Along the walks that lead around and across this open space are several monumental solitary trees (linden, beech, exotics) and tree groups. On either side of the entrance gate a monumental chestnut (left) and a monumental linden (right). In the southwest the park is visually bounded by a landscaped, sunken ditch. On the far side of the ditch a group of old beeches and a monumental plane tree and chestnut. There are various sight lines from the house into the park and vice versa. The age of the tree stand goes in part back to the time of the park's layout, presumably the first half of the 19th century. Some trees may be even older. East of the house, on the Vecht stands a garden gate flanked by a pair of urns on pedestals, which are already depicted on 18th and 19th century engravings.
The entrance drive as well as the forecourt and traffic spaces between the main building and the coach house are asphalted.
