Omschrijving
Omschrijving onderdeel 6: (op de bijbehorende kaart aangegeven met nr. 6) TUINSIERADEN behorende tot de buitenplaats Boom en Bosch. Het tuinhek aan de Vecht wordt geflankeerd door een stel zandsteenkleurige tuinvazen op een bijbehorend piedestal. De ornamentele vazen staan op een voet, zijn achthoekig van vorm, waarbij de vier grotere vlakken voorzien zijn van een medaillon en worden bekroond door een bewerkt deksel. De blokvormige piedestals zijn voorzien van paneelvakken en een ornamentele rand met klokjesmotief onder de deklijst. De tuinvazen en piedestals zijn afgebeeld op de gravure van Stoopendaal (1719), op de tekening van J. de Beyer (1750) en op de prenten van P.J. Lutgers (1836 en 1871). Vazen en piedestals dateren van omstreeks 1700.

Description
Description component 6: (indicated on the accompanying map with no. 6) GARDEN ORNAMENTS belonging to the country estate Boom en Bosch. The garden gate on the Vecht is flanked by a pair of sandstone-coloured garden urns on a corresponding pedestal. The ornamental urns stand on a base, are octagonal in form, with the four larger faces provided with a medallion and are crowned by a worked lid. The block-shaped pedestals are equipped with panel fields and an ornamental border with bell motif below the cornice. The garden urns and pedestals are depicted in the engraving by Stoopendaal (1719), in the drawing by J. de Beyer (1750) and in the prints by P.J. Lutgers (1836 and 1871). Urns and pedestals date from circa 1700.
