Omschrijving onderdeel 7: TOEGANGSHEK.
Aan de Herenweg staat een gietijzeren toegangshek uit ca.1865 bestaande uit (van links naar rechts) een halfrond zijstuk aan de slootzijde, een gecanneleerde zuil bekroond door een vaas, een vast spijlenhekwerk waarvan het onderste deel in kruisverband en decoraties aan de bovenzijde, een gelijkvormige zuil, dubbele hekvleugels met rijk gedecoreerde spijlpunten, en vervolgens weer een zuil, hekwerk, zuil en zijstuk. Aan de linkerkant op een kademuur staat een restant van een spijlenhek.

Description of component 7: ACCESS GATE.
On the Herenweg stands a cast iron access gate from c.1865 consisting of (from left to right) a semi-circular side section at the ditch side, a fluted column crowned by a vase, fixed spile ironwork with the lower part in cross pattern and decorations on the upper side, an identical column, double gate wings with richly decorated spile points, and then again a column, ironwork, column and side section. On the left side on an embankment wall stands a remnant of spile ironwork.

The ACCESS GATE is of general importance:
