Omschrijving onderdeel 4
Ten noordwesten van het Berghuisje staat de zogenoemde KOEPEL VAN STOOP gebouwd in circa 1840 in neoclassicistische stijl door (tuin)architect J.D. Zocher jr. in opdracht van J.B. Stoop. De op ronde grondslag opgetrokken koepel bestaat uit een bakstenen gebouwtje waaromheen een colonnade van hardstenen zuilen is aangebracht, die een brede kroonlijst en het oorspronkelijk met leien gedekte koepeldak dragen; de zuilen zijn 17de-eeuws en door Zocher hoogstwaarschijnlijk hergebruikt (afkomstig van de in 1836 gesloopte Amsterdamse beurs gebouwd door Hendrick de Keyser). In het muurwerk van de koepel, dat is uitgevoerd in imitatie natuursteenblokken (pleister op baksteen), zijn grote dubbele tuindeuren aangebracht. De toegang is gevat in een zeer monumentale ingangspartij bestaande uit zware pijlers, gestapelde lijsten bekroond door een opengewerkte dakruiter van vier zuiltjes met afdakje. Rondom staat een ijzeren spijlenhekje. Vanaf de koepel liepen verschillende vergezichten ondermeer op de Piramide van Austerlitz, het Berghuisje en naar de Gelderse Vallei, die thans dichtgegroeid zijn.

Northwest of the Berghuisje stands the so-called STOOP'S ROTUNDA built circa 1840 in neoclassical style by (landscape) architect J.D. Zocher jr. on the commission of J.B. Stoop. The rotunda on a circular groundplan consists of a brick building around which a colonnade of sandstone columns has been erected, which carry a wide cornice and the originally slate-covered domed roof; the columns are 17th-century and were presumably reused by Zocher (originating from the Amsterdam stock exchange demolished in 1836 built by Hendrick de Keyser). In the masonry of the rotunda, executed in imitation of dressed stone blocks (plaster on brick), large double glazed doors have been inserted. The entrance is framed in a very monumental entrance arrangement consisting of heavy piers, stacked mouldings crowned by an openwork roof tower of four small columns with canopy. Around it stands an iron railing. From the rotunda ran various vistas including towards the Pyramid of Austerlitz, the Berghuisje and towards the Geldersche Vallei, which are now overgrown.
