Ten oosten van het hoofdgebouw van Oud Amelisweerd ligt aan de Kromme Rijn het markante boerderij-ensemble 'De Zonnewijzer', bestaande uit een boerderij, zomerhuis, rietgedekte kapberg en schuur.
Omschrijving
Achter de boerderij een zeshoekige KAPBERG, opgetrokken uit geteerde houten planken en gedekt door een rieten tentdak. De kapberg dateert uit de 19de eeuw.

De KAPBERG, deeluitmakend van een ensemble van boerderij, zomerhuis, rietgedekte kapberg en schuur behorende tot de buitenplaats Oud Amelisweerd is van algemeen belang:
