Omschrijving
Een in oorsprong waarschijnlijk achttiende-eeuwse schuur (afgebeeld op de kadastrale kaart uit 1824/1832) op rechthoekige grondslag, voorzien van een grotendeels houten beplanking. De schuur is voorzien van een schilddak met aan de zuidzijde een wolfseind.
Inwendig bevat de schuur nog oude en waardevolle onderdelen van de draagconstructie en andere historische details, waarbij veel secundair gebruikt materiaal aanwezig is. De schuur heeft waarschijnlijk gefunctioneerd als opslagruimte, wagenberging, veestalling enz. bij het boerenbedrijf.
Waardering
De waarschijnlijk achttiende-eeuwse, maar later op onderdelen gewijzigde schuur van Weilust is van algemeen belang vanwege:
- de in hoofdzaak gave in- en uitwendige verschijningsvorm;
- de waarde van constructieonderdelen vanwege ouderdom en bouwhistorie;

Description component 4: Barn
Description
A barn, probably of the eighteenth century (depicted on the cadastral map of 1824/1832), on a rectangular ground plan, provided with largely timber cladding. The barn is provided with a hipped roof with a half-hipped end on the south side.
Internally the barn still contains old and valuable components of the load-bearing structure and other historical details, with much secondary used material present. The barn probably functioned as storage space, wagon storage, livestock stable etc. for the farm operation.
Valuation
The barn at Weilust, probably of the eighteenth century but later altered in some parts, is of general importance because of:
- the substantially intact interior and exterior appearance;
- the value of structural components because of age and building history;
- the functional, historical and visual coherence with the other components of the country estate.
