De grot is uitgevoerd in beton en opgetrokken als 'ware afbeelding' (zij het verkleind) van de grot te Lourdes. Beelden van Maria en Bernadette zijn aanwezig. Voor de opening een hekwerk.
Waardering
De in 1936 gebouwde Lourdesgrot van klooster Mariadal is van algemeen belang vanwege:
typologie, vanwege de relatief natuurgetrouwe uitbeelding van de grot te Lourdes op kleine schaal;
materiaal, vanwege de uitvoering in beton;
