Inleiding.
Voormalige EETZAAL, KANTINE en KEUKEN, tegenwoordig recreatiezaal, crèche, vreemdelingendienst, vertegenwoordiging Ministerie van Justitie. Het pand is gebouwd in 1941-1942 als een imitatie van de Duits Ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwtrant.
Omschrijving.
Zeer groot, uit vier verschillende bouwvolumes samengesteld, pand dat aan de oostelijke zijde van het complex vrijstaand langs en in de bocht van de weg gelegen is. Drie van de bouwblokken zijn rechthoekig en haaks op elkaar geplaatst; het vierde is rond en bevindt zich in de zuidoostelijke hoek. De rechte blokken hebben een zadel- of schilddak gedekt met verbeterde Hollandse pannen. Het ronde torentje heeft een spits gedekt met leien in maasdekking. Bij het aan het torentje grenzende gedeelte, waar nu de crèche zit, is in de omlijstingen en tussenstijlen van de vensters rijkelijk gebruik gemaakt van natuursteen. Deze omlijstingen komen in geen van de andere bouwgedeelten voor. Op het torentje na hebben alle aparte bouwonderdelen een eigen ingang; het hoektorentje is slechts via de crèche van binnen uit bereikbaar. Alle ingangen zijn voorzien van een klein trapje. De centrale ingang bij het parkeerterrein aan de westzijde wordt het meest benadrukt; onder andere door een tuitgevel met een apart zadeldak. Veruit de meeste vensters zijn nog origineel. De dakkapellen aan de straatzijde zijn gedekt met zinken schilddakjes. Aan de achterzijde zijn de dakkapellen met hun brede vorm en pannenbedekking nog geheel in de originele staat. Waardering. Het pand is van algemeen belang.

Former DINING HALL, CANTEEN and KITCHEN, now recreation hall, crèche, foreigners' office, representation of the Ministry of Justice. The building was constructed in 1941-1942 as an imitation of the German Arts and Crafts traditional building style.
Description.
A very large building composed of four different building volumes, situated on the eastern side of the complex standing freely along and in the bend of the road. Three of the building blocks are rectangular and set at right angles to each other; the fourth is round and is located in the south-eastern corner. The straight blocks have a gabled or hipped roof covered with improved Dutch tiles. The small round turret has a pointed roof covered with slate in coursed bond. In the section adjoining the turret, where the crèche is now situated, natural stone has been used abundantly in the surrounds and intermediate stanchions of the windows. These surrounds do not appear in any of the other building sections. Apart from the turret, all separate building components have their own entrance; the corner turret is only accessible from within via the crèche. All entrances are provided with a small step. The central entrance at the car park on the west side is most prominent; among other things through a spout gable with a separate gabled roof. The vast majority of windows are still original. The roof dormers on the street side are covered with zinc hipped roof tiles. On the rear side, the roof dormers with their broad form and tile covering remain entirely in the original state.
