Inleiding.
Voormalig LEGERINGSGEBOUW, tegenwoordig onderkomen voor asielzoekers, haaks op de weg, gesitueerd aan de oostelijke rand van het complex naast nummer 9. Het pand is gebouwd in 1941-1942 als een imitatie van de Duits Ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwtrant.
Omschrijving.
Groot gebouwentype op rechthoekige grondslag onder een met verbeterde Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak met wolfseinden.
Tufstenen aanzetblokjes. Het gebouw is niet gesplitst en heeft een licht getoogde, terugliggende ingang aan de korte zijden.
Houten opgeklampte deuren met ijzerbeslag. De vensters aan zowel de korte als aan de lange gevels zijn deels vergroot.
Dakkapellen onder een zinken schilddak.
Waardering.
Het pand is van algemeen belang.
Het pand heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als bijzondere uitdrukking van een landschappelijke en bestuurlijke ontwikkeling.
