Inleiding
BRANDSLANGTOREN met GARAGE, schuin achter het raadhuis gelegen. Gebouwd voor de brandweer als oefentoren en droogruimte voor de brandslangen.
Omschrijving
Vierkante, vierlaagse bakstenen toren, bekroond door een opstaande rand met bakstenen kantelen. De kantelen zijn aan de bovenzijde afgewerkt met een natuurstenen lijst. De voorkant heeft vanaf de verdieping poorten en een smalle metalen trap. De gevel op de begane grond is blind.
Aan de linkerkant bevindt zich een smalle éénlaags aanbouw onder plat dak. Daarin zijn twee getoogde poorten geplaatst met smeedijzeren beslag. In de poorten zijn kleine vierkante raampjes met forse ijzeren roosters ervoor aangebracht. In de zijgevel bevinden zich enkele openingen, eveneens voorzien van roosters.

Description
Square, four-storey brick tower, crowned by a raised edge with brick crenellations. The crenellations are finished at the top with a natural stone string course. The front has from the storey level doorways and a narrow metal stair. The facade on the ground floor is blank.
On the left side there is a narrow single-storey extension under a flat roof. In it are two arched doorways with wrought-iron fittings. In the doorways are small square windows with sturdy iron grilles fitted in front. In the side facade there are several openings, likewise provided with grilles.
