Inleiding
WOONHUIS, gebouwd als inspecteurswoning. Het maakt nu deel uit van het raadhuis. Ten gunste van deze functieverandering zijn in het pand enkele wijzigingen aangebracht.
Het huis ligt dicht tegen de zijvleugel van het raadhuis en vormt visueel een afsluiting van de westkant van de tuin die voor deze zijvleugel ligt. Het huis is gebouwd in de jaren dertig door Kropholler, in de voor hem karakteristieke traditionalistische stijl.
Omschrijving
Tweelaags bakstenen pand onder een licht ingeknikt dak. Het dak is gedekt met leien. De ramen met roedenverdeling liggen diep in de gevel. Het pand heeft een houten deur.
Waardering
Het woonhuis is van algemeen belang. Het pand is van cultuurhistorisch belang als uitdrukking van een sociaaleconomische ontwikkeling. Het heeft architectuurhistorische waarde wegens vormgeving en materiaalgebruik. Het heeft ensemblewaarde als essentieel onderdeel van het geheel.

DWELLING HOUSE, built as an inspector's residence. It now forms part of the town hall. In favour of this change of function some alterations have been made to the building.
The house stands close against the side wing of the town hall and visually forms a closure of the west side of the garden which lies in front of this side wing. The house was built in the nineteen-thirties by Kropholler, in his characteristic traditionalist style.

Two-storey brick building under a slightly curved roof. The roof is covered with slate. The windows with glazing bars are set deep in the facade. The building has a wooden door.

The dwelling house is of general importance. The building is of cultural-historical importance as an expression of a socio-economic development. It has architectural-historical value because of design and material use. It has ensemble value as an essential component of the whole.
