Omschrijving
Inleiding.
Aan het einde van het rechter beukenlaantje bevindt zich in de zuidelijke hoek van de begraafplaats, midden op de as van het laantje, het KRUISBEELD dat op het noordwesten is georinteerd.
Het uit het vierde kwart van de negentiende eeuw daterende beeld behoort stilistisch tot de Neo-Gotiek.
Omschrijving.
Het frontaal gerichte kruisbeeld bestaat uit een secundaire bakstenen sokkel met daarop een zwart geschilderd gietijzeren kruis waarvan de armen eindigen in driepassen. Rondom het centrum van de kruisarmen een viertal stralen. Aan de bovenste arm een schriftrol met de kruistitel 'IN/RI'. Tussen het kruis en de rechthoekige basis is een staand rechthoekig, geprofileerd tableau ingevoegd waarop in relif een doodshoofd staat weergegeven als symbool voor de kortstondigheid van het leven.
Aan het kruis hangt een door een voetstuk ondersteunde, wit geschilderdelijdende Christus, gekleed gaande in het subligaculum; een smalle, de schaamdelen bedekkende lendendoek.
Waardering.
Het kruisbeeld is van algemeen belang. Het object heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van de ontwikkeling van de rooms-katholieke uitbeelding van Christus' kruisiging aan het einde van de negentiende eeuw.
Het object bezit kunsthistorische waarden wegens de esthetische kwaliteit, de bijzondere detaillering en het opmerkelijke materiaalgebruik.
Het object heeft tesamen met het toegangshek en de grafmonumenten ensemblewaarde als onderdeel van een historisch gegroeid religieus ensemble aan de Rietbeemdweg.
Het object is van belang wegens de gaafheid.

At the end of the right aisle lane in the southern corner of the cemetery, in the middle on the axis of the lane, is the CRUCIFIX oriented towards the northwest.
The image dating from the fourth quarter of the nineteenth century belongs stylistically to the Neo-Gothic.
Description.
The frontally oriented crucifix consists of a secondary brick base with upon it a black-painted cast-iron cross whose arms end in trefoils. Around the centre of the cross arms four rays. On the upper arm a scroll with the inscription 'IN/RI'. Between the cross and the rectangular base is inserted a standing rectangular, moulded panel on which in relief a skull is depicted as a symbol for the brevity of life.
Hanging on the cross is a suffering Christ, supported by a pedestal, painted white, dressed in the subligaculum; a narrow loincloth covering the genitals.
Valuation.
The crucifix is of general importance. The object has cultural-historical value as a particular expression of the development of Roman Catholic depiction of Christ's crucifixion at the end of the nineteenth century.
The object possesses artistic-historical values because of the aesthetic quality, the particular detailing and the remarkable use of materials.
The object has together with the entrance gate and grave monuments ensemble value as part of a historically developed religious ensemble on the Rietbeemdweg.
The object is of importance because of its integrity.
