Inleiding.
Op de begraafplaats ten oosten van de kerk bevindt zich een georinteerde GRAFTOMBE van A.C.J. van Boeckel van Rumpt, heer van het landgoed Velder, en G.M.J. Hubar. De in 1909 vervaardigde tombe vertoont invloeden van deNeo-Renaissance.
Omschrijving.
De graftombe beslaat een rechthoekige plattegrond. Op een plint, bestaande uit geprofileerde rode verblendsteen en hardsteen (voor de hoekblokken), verheft zich een hardstenen samengesteld tweedelig basement met daarop de sarcofaag. De enigszins aflopende sarcofaag, met concave hoekribben, heeft ter halver hoogte een omlopende geprofileerde lijst, aan iedere zijde doorbroken door aanzetstukken voor decoratieve witmarmeren pseudo-draagringen. De draagringen zijn opgenomen in een aan iedere zijde projecterend, frontonachtig driehoekig gebeeldhouwd volume, via acroterin met elkaar verbonden en met binnen het driehoekige veld een voorstelling met twee gekruiste palmtakken onder een kruisnimbus. De palmtakken symboliseren de Overwinning, in de zin van gelukkige voleinding van het leven. Afdekplaat met teksten en twee wapens in licht relif waarop witmarmeren kruis met epitaaf 'ave spes unica' en ondersteunend blok.
Waardering.
Het object is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorische waarden als bijzondere uitdrukking van de ontwikkeling van de rooms-katholieke grafcultuur en de sociale ontwikkeling. Verder is het object van belang in relatie tot de geschiedenis van het dorp en het beschermde landgoed Velder. Het object heeft ensemblewaarden als onderdeel van een historisch gegroeid religieus ensemble, bestaande uit de begraafplaats met monumentaal toegangshek, de kerk, het belendende St. Albertusklooster en de nabijgelegen pastorie (rijksmonument). Het object is verder van belang wegens de gaafheid.

On the cemetery east of the church stands an oriented GRAVE TOMB of A.C.J. van Boeckel van Rumpt, lord of the estate Velder, and G.M.J. Hubar. The tomb, made in 1909, shows influences of the Neo-Renaissance.

The grave tomb occupies a rectangular floor plan. On a plinth, consisting of profiled red facing brick and hardstone (for the corner blocks), rises a hardstone compound two-part basement with the sarcophagus on top. The somewhat sloping sarcophagus, with concave corner ribs, has at mid-height a running profiled moulding, interrupted on each side by contact pieces for decorative white marble pseudo-bearing rings. The bearing rings are incorporated in a projecting, pediment-like triangular carved volume on each side, connected via acroterion and with within the triangular field a representation of two crossed palm branches beneath a cruciferous nimbus. The palm branches symbolize Victory, in the sense of the happy completion of life. Top slab with texts and two coats of arms in low relief on which white marble cross with epitaph 'ave spes unica' and supporting block.

The object is of general interest. It has cultural-historical values as a special expression of the development of Roman Catholic grave culture and social development.
