Inleiding
Bij de aanleg van het kerkhof in 1872 werd aan het eind van het centraal gelegen pad de CALVARIEBERG met beeldengroep in neo-gotische vormen opgericht. Aan de voet van de berg bevinden zich voornamelijk priestergraven; de oudste aan de westelijke zijde die in de as van het pad ligt. Berg en beelden zijn zeer gaaf overgeleverd.
Omschrijving
De geheel begroeide calvarieberg is ongeveer drie meter hoog. Op de top van de berg bevindt zich de beeldengroep die de op een hoog en rank kruis gekruisigde Christus geflankeerd door aan zijn rechterzijde Maria en aan zijn linkerzijde de apostel Johannes. Beide laatste figuren worden met de handen gevouwen afgebeeld. De geheel vrijstaande beeldengroep bezit nog de originele polychromie. De beelden zijn vervaardigd in neo-gotische stijl en vertonen de zo karakteristieke gotische S-vorm.

De calvarieberg met beeldengroep is van algemeen cultuurhistorisch belang als bijzondere uitdrukking van culturele en geestelijke ontwikkelingen. Introduction
Upon the laying out of the cemetery in 1872, a CALVARY HILL with figure group in neo-Gothic forms was erected at the end of the centrally located path. At the foot of the hill are located mainly priest graves; the oldest on the western side lying in the axis of the path. Hill and figures have been very well preserved.
Description
The entirely overgrown calvary hill is approximately three metres high. On the top of the hill is located the figure group depicting Christ crucified on a tall and slender cross flanked on his right side by Mary and on his left side by the apostle John. Both latter figures are depicted with folded hands. The entirely freestanding figure group still possesses the original polychromy. The figures are executed in neo-Gothic style and display the characteristic Gothic S-form.
