Inleiding
Uit 1880 daterend GRAFMONUMENT in neo-classicistische stijl van A. (Antoon) Jurgens, 1805-1880, stichter van de V.O.F. Antoon Jurgens Margarine Fabrieken en van zijn vrouw J. (Johanna) Lemmens 1807-1879. Zij zijn de ouders van Henri en Jan Jurgens wiens graven onder de nummers III en V beschermd worden. Antoon Jurgens wordt ook wel beschouwd als de grondlegger van Organon.
Omschrijving
Het grafmonument bevindt zich op het onder I beschermde kavel en heeft een vierkante grondslag met hardstenen plaat waarop centraal de rechthoekige tombe en stèle bekroond met kruis geplaatst zijn. Tombe met gebogen afdekplaat. Stèle met fronton en gebroken fronton. Grafschrift op uitgehouwen cartouche. Het graf wordt omgeven door hardstenen paaltjes die met in relif aangebrachte kruisen geornamenteerd zijn en onderling door een smeedijzeren schakelketting met elkaar verbonden zijn.

GRAVE MONUMENT dating from 1880 in neo-classical style of A. (Antoon) Jurgens, 1805-1880, founder of the V.O.F. Antoon Jurgens Margarine Factories and of his wife J. (Johanna) Lemmens 1807-1879. They are the parents of Henri and Jan Jurgens whose graves are protected under the numbers III and V. Antoon Jurgens is also regarded as the founder of Organon.
Description
The grave monument is located on the plot protected under I and has a square ground plan with a limestone plate on which centrally the rectangular tomb and stele crowned with a cross are placed. Tomb with curved top plate. Stele with pediment and broken pediment. Epitaph on carved cartouche. The grave is surrounded by limestone bollards which are ornamented with crosses rendered in relief and are connected to each other by wrought-iron chain links.
