Inleiding
Ten oosten van het woonhuis van het boerderijcomplex staat, verbonden via een tussenlid, een KARSCHOP, daterende uit ca. 1860, en in 1967 verhoogd. Het heeft Ambachtelijk-Traditionele vormen.
Omschrijving
Het schop heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond en wordt gedekt door een asymmetrisch zadeldak, belegd met muldenpannen. De gevels zijn opgetrokken in baksteen en ter hoogte van de taszolder voorzien van zware smeedijzeren muurankers. In de westelijke gevel zijn kleine ijzeren stalvensters aangebracht. De noordelijke gevel is verhoogd, zodat de taszolder werd vergroot en rechts in de gevel een forse inrijpoort kon worden aangebracht. In de rest van de gevel zijn vier paar opgeklampte inrijpoorten aangebracht.
Waardering
Het karschop is van algemeen belang. Het gebouw heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als voorbeeld van de sociaal-economische ontwikkeling van de landbouw in West-Brabant en als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van het karschop. Architectuurhistorisch is het pand van belang vanwege de ornamentiek. Het geheel heeft ensemblewaarden wegens de samenhang met het omliggende poldergebied dat nog de oorspronkelijke verkaveling bezit. Het is belangrijk vanwege de gaafheid en is als vertegenwoordiger van een meerledige polderboerderij van het West-Brabantse type zeldzaam.

To the east of the residential house of the farmstead complex stands, connected via an intermediate section, a CART SHED, dating from c. 1860, and heightened in 1967. It displays Craft-Traditional forms.
Description
The shed has a rectangular plan and is covered by an asymmetrical gabled roof, laid with pantiles. The facades are constructed in brick and at the height of the loft are fitted with heavy wrought-iron wall anchors. Small iron stable windows have been installed in the western facade. The northern facade has been heightened, so that the loft was enlarged and a substantial cart entrance could be placed on the right in the facade. In the rest of the facade four pairs of clamped cart entrances have been installed.
Valuation
The cart shed is of general interest. The building has cultural-historical importance as an example of the socio-economic development of agriculture in West-Brabant and as an example of the typological development of the cart shed. From an architectural-historical perspective the property is important because of its ornamentation. The whole has ensemble values because of its coherence with the surrounding polder landscape that still retains the original land division. It is important because of its integrity and is rare as a representative of a multi-part polder farmstead of the West-Brabant type.
