Omschrijving
Inleiding.
Ten noorden van het woonhuis staat een SCHUUR, daterende uit omstreeks 1860 en opgetrokken in Ambachtelijk-Traditionele stijl met Eclectische motieven. De inrijpoorten zijn in de korte gevel aangebracht, hetgeen wijst op een schuur van het langsdeeltype. De nok van het dak staat haaks op de weg.
Omschrijving.
De schuur heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond en het oorspronkelijke gebint en wordt gedekt door een laag aangezet zadeldak met golfplaat.
In de westelijke gevel is van links naar rechts achtereenvolgens een tweedelige opgeklampte deur naar de koestal, geflankeerd door getoogde ijzeren vensters, een opgeklampte inrijpoort en een dito staldeur aangebracht.
De gevel heeft smeedijzeren muurankers en een achtlobbige oculus in de topgevel.
Waardering.
De schuur is van algemeen belang. Het gebouw heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als voorbeeld van de sociaal-economische ontwikkeling van de landbouw in West-Brabant en als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van de schuur.
Architectuurhistorisch is het pand van belang vanwege de ornamentiek. Het geheel heeft ensemblewaarden wegens de samenhang met het omliggende poldergebied dat nog de oorspronkelijke verkaveling bezit.
