Inleiding
De SCHUUR is onderdeel van het boerderijcomplex aan de Molendijk 8 in de gemeente Korendijk. De rechthoekige schuur met aanbouw is gesitueerd op het achtererf met de nok loodrecht op het woonhuis. Evenals de rest van het complex dateert de schuur uit het derde kwart van de negentiende eeuw en is gebouwd in Ambachtelijk-traditionele trant.
De schuur verkeert in vervallen doch grotendeels originele staat.
Omschrijving
De rechthoekige schuur heeft een lessenaarsdak met een geschulpte lijst aan de nok. Links aan de voorzijde een aanbouw eveneens met lessenaarsdak. De schuur is opgetrokken in rode baksteen, die aan achterzijde is voorzien van een pleisterlaag. In de voorgevel staan drie getoogde stalvensters met ijzeren ramen en een deuropening. In de achter- en zijgevels staan vergelijkbare vensters. Alle gevels zijn voorzien van muurankers.
Waardering
De schuur is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische en de ensemblewaarde.

Introduction
The BARN is part of the farmstead complex at Molendijk 8 in the municipality of Korendijk. The rectangular barn with an outbuilding is situated on the rear farmyard with the ridge perpendicular to the dwelling house. Like the rest of the complex, the barn dates from the third quarter of the nineteenth century and was built in Craftsman-traditional style.
The barn is in a deteriorated yet largely original state.
Description
The rectangular barn has a lean-to roof with a moulded cornice at the ridge. On the left at the front an outbuilding likewise with a lean-to roof. The barn is constructed in red brick, which is furnished with a plaster layer at the rear. In the front gable stand three arched stable windows with iron frames and a door opening. In the rear and side gables stand comparable windows. All gables are furnished with wall anchors.
