Inleiding
ZES LANTAARNPALEN rondom het ontvangstgebouw dat in opdracht van de firma De Vries Robbé naar ontwerp van de architecten Merkelbach en Karsten in 1940 tot stand kwam. Het beton waaruit de lantaarnpalen bestaan is roterend gegoten; een fabricage methode die zelden werd toegepast.
Omschrijving
Zes ronde, taps toelopende betonnen lantaarnpalen waarvan twee met een grijze en vier met een lichtgroene kleur. De ronde arm eindigt in een ovale, overstekende kap.

De zes lantaarnpalen behorend bij het voormalige ontvangstgebouw van de firma De Vries Robbé zijn van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde
