Omschrijving
Inleiding.
De PREDIKANTENWONING werd gebouwd in sobere Expressionistische stijl in 1927 naar ontwerp van architect B.T. Boeyinga. De woning is aan de kerk verbonden door de kerkeraadskamer. De vensters zijn bij een verbouwing rond 1980 vereenvoudigd.
Omschrijving.
Het tweelaagse pand met rechthoekige plattegrond heeft een hoog schilddak met leien in maasdekking. De gevels zijn opgetrokken uit machinale baksteen met rollagen en eenvoudige uitspringende baksteenlagen op de verdieping. De begane grond heeft links een driezijdige erker onder plat dak. Rechts bevindt zich de vernieuwde voordeur, tesamen met een raam geplaatst onder een houten luifel met gesneden sierconsole bij het venster. Boven de luifel bevinden zich verticale stroken met glazen bouwblokken. De etage heeft een strook bandvensters, direct onder de uitkragende houten gootlijst. Links wordt deze onderbroken voor de aansluiting bij het buurpand. Het dak is voorzien van een brede dakkapel onder plat dak. De achtergevel bezit een aantal vernieuwde vensters en een deur naar de grote achtertuin, de kap heeft ook hier een grote dakkapel onder plat dak. Het interieur is grotendeels gemoderniseerd. De centrale hal en de steektrap met houten sierbalusters geven de oorspronkelijke situatie het beste weer. De indeling van de ruimte, met vele grote vertrekken, is grotendeels intact gebleven.
