Inleiding
LindenLAAN genaamd "Stroomerlaantje", deel uitmakend van het rooms-katholiek kerkelijk complex St. Laurentius. Het Stroomerlaantje begint bij de Munnikenweg en eindigt bij de pastorietuin. Het laantje dankt haar naam aan de familie Stroomer die woonde in de tegenover het laantje gelegen stolpboerderij Munnikenweg 8. Een deel van de parochianen kwam via de Munnikenweg en het Stroomerlaantje naar de kerk (en de begraafplaats). Op de topografisch- militaire kaart van 1857-1858 staat het Stroomerlaantje reeds weergegeven als een laan met aan weerzijden een rij bomen. Mogelijk dateert het laantje in aanleg uit 1658 toen in de achterste helft van de huidige pastorietuin een katholieke schuilkerk gebouwd werd. Voor de aanleg van de pastorietuin omstreeks 1880 liep het Stroomerlaantje door tot aan de huidige Carmelietenstraat.
Omschrijving
Circa 105 meter lange en ruim twee meter brede laan die verhard is met fijn grind en schelpen en aan weerszijden beplant met een rij geschoren leilindes van ruim honderd jaar oud. In de noordelijke helft wordt de laan geflankeerd door een beukhaag (O) en het Kerkenbos (W), in de zuidelijke helft door de muur van de begraafplaats (W) en het plein voor de kerk (O). Zowel aan het begin als het einde van de laan staat een houten toegangshek met een ijzeren boog bekroond door een kruis.
Waardering
Het Stroomerlaantje is van algemeen belang wegens cultuurhistorische waarde als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van het rooms-katholiek kerkelijk complex St. Laurentius. Verder van belang vanwege de markering van de toegang tot de begraafplaats en de kerk.

Introduction
Linden LANE called "Stroomerlaantje", forming part of the Roman Catholic ecclesiastical complex St. Laurentius. The Stroomerlaantje begins at the Munnikenweg and ends at the rectory garden. The lane owes its name to the Stroomer family who lived in the stoop-roofed farmhouse Munnikenweg 8 situated opposite the lane. Part of the parishioners came via the Munnikenweg and the Stroomerlaantje to the church (and the cemetery). On the topographic-military map of 1857-1858 the Stroomerlaantje is already shown as a lane with a row of trees on both sides. The lane possibly dates in its development to 1658 when a Catholic clandestine church was built in the rear part of the present rectory garden. Before the development of the rectory garden around 1880 the Stroomerlaantje continued to the present Carmelietenstraat.
Description
Approximately 105 metre long and over two metres wide lane surfaced with fine gravel and shells and planted on both sides with a row of trimmed linden trees over one hundred years old. In the northern half the lane is flanked by a beech hedge (O) and the Kerkenbos (W), in the southern half by the cemetery wall (W) and the church square (O). At both the beginning and the end of the lane stands a wooden entrance gate with an iron arch crowned by a cross.
