Inleiding
FAMILIEGRAF "Stroomer", deel uitmakend van het rooms-katholiek kerkelijk complex St. Laurentius. Het rechts naast het priestergraf gesitueerde grafmonument van de familie Stroomer dateert gezien de art nouveau vormgeving uit het eerste kwart van de 20ste eeuw. De familie Stroomer heeft een belangrijke rol gespeeld bij de totstandkoming van de begraafplaats en de kerk. Ze woonden in de voor rijksbescherming voorgedragen stolpboerderij Munnikenweg 8 die gelegen is in het verlengde van het naar hen vernoemde Stroomerlaantje dat uitkomt bij de kerk.

Samengesteld grafmonument van hardsteen bestaande uit een grafzerk van 2,60 x 1,38 meter op een roef met een oplopende hoogte van circa 0,30 tot 0,50 m, en een lage, door achthoekige hoekpijlertjes met een gepunte top geflankeerde achterwand die in het midden bekroond wordt door een Latijns kruis. De grafzerk heeft een afgeschuinde rand met ruitmotieven en vermeldt de namen van de familie Stroomer die hier tussen 1867 en 1996 begraven zijn. De achterwand is voorzien van een afgeronde bovenrand met gestileerde bladmotieven waaronder het opschrift "FAMILIE-" "GRAF." en twee tekstvelden met de namen van het overleden echtpaar Bijman-Stroomer. Het tot een hoogte van 2,30 meter reikende kruis heeft in het midden een cirkel met de afkorting "ihs" omgeven door siermotieven. FAMILY GRAVE "Stroomer", forming part of the Roman Catholic ecclesiastical complex St. Laurentius. The grave monument of the Stroomer family, situated to the right of the priest's grave, dates from the first quarter of the 20th century given its Art Nouveau styling.
