Bij de historische buitenplaats Blanckenburg behorend WOONHUIS van het type herenhuis, gelegen naast boerderij Blankenhoeve en gebouwd omstreeks 1906 in Overgangsstijl met elementen uit de Neo-Renaissance gebouwd, vermoedelijk naar ontwerp van de plaatselijke architect G.J. v.d. Mark.
Omschrijving
Vrijstaand, tweelaags pand met een L-vormige plattegrond. Vanaf een hardstenen plint, afgesloten door een rollaag, opgetrokken in grauwe baksteen (kruisverband) met sierbanden in gele verblendsteen. De twee haaks op elkaar geplaatste schilddaken hebben verschillende nokhoogtes en zijn gedekt met gesmoorde, geglazuurde Hollandse pannen. De uitkragende goot wordt gedragen door klossen.
Zuidgevel met links een risalerend bouwdeel. Hiervoor is een houten serre met snijwerk geplaatst met daarop een balkon met gesneden balusters. Achter het balkon dubbele balkondeuren met zij- en bovenlichten onder een segmentboog met aanzet- en sluitstenen een siermetselwerk in de boogtrommel. Centraal boven dit geveldeel een dakkapel onder een overstekend zadeldak. Rechts van het risalerende bouwdeel is op de begane grond een dubbele terrasdeur onder een bovenlicht geplaatst en op de verdieping een balkon op gesneden klampen voorzien van een balustrade met snijwerk. Het balkon is toegankelijk via een glasdeur onder een segmentboog met sluit- en aanzetstenen. In de westelijke gevel is op de begane grond en de verdieping een T-venster geplaatst met luiken. Ter halve verdiepingshoogte een rondboogvormig venster met glas-in-lood.
De noordgevel is overwegend blind en heeft een eenlaagse aanbouw waarin een rondboogvormige, houten deur geplaatst is.
De oostgevel heeft in de oksel en twee lagen tellend bouwdeel en een houten serre-achtige aanbouw waarin een eenvoudige deur geplaatst is. In het risalerende bouwdeel ter plaatse van beide bouwlagen een venster. In het, in de oksel geplaatste bouwdeel een rondboogvormig venster met glas-in-lood.

DWELLING HOUSE of the type country house manor belonging to the historic country estate Blanckenburg, situated next to the farmstead Blankenhoeve and built around 1906 in Transitional style with elements from the Neo-Renaissance, presumably designed by the local architect G.J. v.d. Mark.
Description
Detached, two-storey building with an L-shaped plan. From a hardstone plinth, finished with a rollmoulding, constructed in grey brick (Flemish bond) with decorative bands in yellow facing brick. The two hipped roofs positioned at right angles to each other have different ridge heights and are covered with smoked, glazed Dutch tiles. The projecting gutter is supported by corbels.
South facade with a projecting wing section on the left. In front of this a wooden conservatory with carved ornament is placed with a balcony above it with carved balusters. Behind the balcony double balcony doors with side and fanlights under a segmental arch with voussoirs and carved brickwork in the arch soffit. Centrally above this facade section a dormer under a projecting gabled roof. To the right of the projecting wing section a double terrace door under a fanlight is placed on the ground floor and on the upper floor a balcony on carved brackets fitted with a balustrade with carved ornament. The balcony is accessed via a glass door under a segmental arch with voussoirs and wedgestones. In the western facade a T-window with shutters is placed on the ground floor and upper floor.
