Inleiding complexonderdeel 3
De DIENSTWONING met GARAGE, behorend bij de historische buitenplaats Eikenrode, is gebouwd in 1913 naar tekeningen van de architecten Smit en Fels in een op de Cottagestijl geïnspireerde bouwstijl.
Het pand ligt noordelijk, in de as van het huis.
Omschrijving
Tweelaags pand opgetrokken in rode baksteen onder een samengesteld, overstekend, rietgedekt schilddak met een op de nok geplaatste schoorsteen. Voorgevel (zuid) met twee dubbele houten garagedeuren met beslag onder een eiken balk als latei. Op de verdieping twee driezijdige erkertjes met glas-in-lood in de zijvensters.
Oostelijke zijgevel met een risalerend bouwdeel onder een wolfsdak waarvan het linker dakschild doorloopt over de gemetselde trap met houten balustrade die naar de entree op de verdieping leidt. Rechts van de trap is op de begane grond een rondboogvormige entree geplaatst met daarnaast een venster met luik. Op de verdieping twee vensters.
De westelijke gevel heeft een risalerend bouwdeel onder een doorlopend dakschild waarin een dakkapel geplaatst is. Op de begane grond van dit geveldeel zijn een dubbel en een klein enkel venster geplaatst, op de verdieping een tweede dubbel venster.

Two-storey building constructed in red brick beneath a composite, overhanging, thatch-covered hipped roof with a chimney placed on the ridge. Front facade (south) with two double wooden garage doors with fittings beneath an oak beam as lintel. On the first floor two three-sided little bay windows with leaded glass in the side windows.
Eastern side facade with a projecting building section beneath a half-hipped roof of which the left roof panel runs over the brick staircase with wooden balustrade leading to the entrance on the first floor. To the right of the staircase a round-arched entrance is placed on the ground floor with next to it a window with shutter. On the first floor two windows.
