De bij de buitenplaats Ter Veken behorende houten (geiten)SCHUUR is in 1913 gebouwd gelijktijdig met een werkmansschuur beide in een functionele Traditioneel-Ambachtelijke trant. De geitenschuur bevindt zich ten noordwesten van het huis, nabij een vaarsloot en een beukenhaagje. De andere schuur staat er niet meer.
Omschrijving
Vrijstaande eenlaags schuur op rechthoekige plattegrond wordt gedekt door een zadeldak met rode Hollandse pannen en houten windveren. De nokrichting is op het noordoosten/zuidwesten gericht. Op een uit grauwe baksteen opgetrokken plint zijn houten wanden van rabatdelen geplaatst. De zuidwestelijke kopgevel is een puntgevel met een houten deur in het midden met rechts ervan een vierruits raam. Op de verdieping zit in het midden een zolderluik. De zuidoostelijke langsgevel heeft links een vierruitsraam.
Waardering
De schuur is van algemeen belang wegens tuin- en cultuurhistorische waarde als karakteristiek ruimtelijk en functioneel onderdeel van de buitenplaats Ter Veken.
De schuur is vrij gaaf wat betreft hoofdvorm en materiaalgebruik.

The wooden (goat) shed belonging to the country estate Ter Veken was built in 1913, at the same time as a workers' shed, both in a functional traditional-artisanal manner. The goat shed is situated northwest of the house, near a drainage channel and a beech hedge. The other shed no longer exists.
Description
Free-standing single-storey shed on rectangular plan is covered by a gabled roof with red Dutch tiles and wooden wind braces. The ridge direction is oriented northeast/southwest. On a plinth constructed of grey brick, wooden walls of rabbeted boards are placed. The southwest-facing gable is a pointed gable with a wooden door in the middle with to the right of it a four-pane window. On the upper floor in the middle sits a loft hatch. The southeast-facing long side has on the left a four-pane window.
Valuation
The shed is of general importance due to garden and cultural-historical value as a characteristic spatial and functional component of the country estate Ter Veken.
The shed is fairly intact as regards principal form and material use.
