TOEGANGSHEK (3), behorend bij het landhuis 'Coromote', uit 1924 en staand aan de Buurtweg in de middenas van het landhuis en leidt naar een ruim voorplein.
Omschrijving
Het toeganshek bevat twee hekpijlers uit rode handvormsteen (Utrechts formaat) in Vlaams verband opgetrokken met blokmotief ter imitatie van rusticawerk, waarbij het in grauwe waalklinkers opgemetselde trasraam wordt afgedekt door rollagen. De hekpijlers worden bekroond door geprofileerde zandstenen dekplaten met bolornament. Tegen beide pijlers is een smeedijzeren lantaarn aangebracht met eronder in gesmede schrijfletters de naam 'Villa' 'Coromote'. Tussen beide hekpijlers is een dubbel ijzeren spijlenhek afgehangen, met details in Neo-Lodewijk XVI-stijl.
Het toegangshek wordt aan weerszijden geflankeerd door uitzwenkende vleugelstukken, omlijst door een uitkragende gemetselde rollaag, aan de bovenzijde eindigend op een zandstenen dekplaat. Description
The entrance gate contains two gate piers made of red hand-moulded brick (Utrecht format) built in Flemish bond with a block motif in imitation of rustic work, with the trash frame set in grey facing bricks covered by roll courses. The gate piers are crowned by moulded sandstone coping plates with ball ornament. Against both piers a wrought iron lantern is mounted with the name 'Villa' 'Coromote' inscribed below in forged lettering. Between both gate piers a double iron railing gate is hung, with details in Neo-Louis XVI style.
The entrance gate is flanked on either side by outswinging wing sections, framed by a projecting brick roll course, ending at the top in a sandstone coping plate.
