Bij het buitenplaatscomplex Arentsburgh en Hoekenburg behorende TUINMUUR, oorspronkelijk onderdeel van het voormalige landgoed Arentsburgh, dateert uit diverse bouwperioden.
N.B. 1. De tegen de muur opgemetselde stoepen zijn van de bescherming van rijkswege uitgesloten.
Omschrijving
In het park Arentsburgh bevindt zich een ongeveer veertig meter lange muur, die oost-west geörienteerd is. De muur heeft ter hoogte van de voormalige oprijlaan van Arentsburgh een meandervormige verspringing. De steensmuur stamt gedeeltelijk uit de 17de eeuw (met klezoren) en gedeeltelijk uit de 19de- en 20ste eeuw (kruisverband). De muur is uitgevoerd met rechthoekige pijlers met gemetselde afdekking (koppenlagen). De beëindiging van de muur aan de westzijde ligt midden in park aan de rand van een sloot. Aan de oostzijde - aan de Arentsburgherlaan - wordt de muur beëindigd met nieuw opgetrokken forse pijlers, die bekroond worden door ijzeren lantaarns en voorzien zijn van dubbele draaihekken.

The GARDEN WALL belonging to the country estate complex Arentsburgh and Hoekenburg, originally part of the former estate Arentsburgh, dates from various building periods.

Description
In the park Arentsburgh there is an approximately forty-metre long wall, which is oriented east-west. The wall has a meandering offset at the height of the former approach road of Arentsburgh. The stone wall dates partly from the 17th century (with brick courses) and partly from the 19th and 20th centuries (English bond). The wall is constructed with rectangular pillars with mortared capping (courses). The termination of the wall on the west side lies in the middle of the park at the edge of a ditch. On the east side - at the Arentsburgherlaan - the wall is terminated with stoutly constructed new pillars, which are crowned with iron lanterns and provided with double swing gates.
