Inleiding
Op het kerkhof, aangelegd in 1837, bevindt zich in de middenas tegenover de Calvarieberg een neogotisch GRAFMONUMENT, bestemd voor de familie Lombarts, waarvan de oudste begraving uit 1849 dateert.
Omschrijving
Het monument is uitgevoerd in hardsteen met een vierkante basis, waarop de signatuur L. Petit - Tilburg. Hierop staan drie trapsgewijs inspringende blokken en de neogotische opbouw. De gladde zuilen op de vier hoeken hebben kapiteeltjes met lofwerk. De spitsbogen worden bekroond door hogels. Hierboven rijst een zich verjongende geleding op met spitsboogjes en tenslotte een kruis. De namen zijn aangebracht op vierkante marmeren platen op de eenvoudige gedecoreerde sokkel en in de spitsboognissen van de opbouw. De volgende teksten staan op de voorzijde: "Zij zijn gestorven en bijgezet bij hun volk - Maria Catharina Lombarts 1828-1849 / Henricus Lombarts 1828-1855 / Nicolaas Everardus Lombarts 1826-1868".

The monument is executed in hard stone with a square base, on which the signature L. Petit - Tilburg. Upon this stand three blocks stepping back in tiers and the neo-gothic superstructure. The smooth shafts on the four corners have capitals with leaf ornament. The pointed arches are crowned by crockets. Above this rises a tapering articulation with small pointed arches and finally a cross. The names are applied to square marble plates on the simply decorated base and in the pointed arch niches of the superstructure. The following texts are on the front: "They are dead and buried with their people - Maria Catharina Lombarts 1828-1849 / Henricus Lombarts 1828-1855 / Nicolaas Everardus Lombarts 1826-1868".
