Omschrijving
PERRONOVERKAPPING (C), met een licht gebogen kapvorm onderbroken in het midden door het hoofdgebouw. De perronoverkapping is van het standaardtype voor een station van de tweede klasse van de Staatsspoorwegen en is tegenwoordig geheel met golfplaten belegd. Deze golfplaten rusten op ijzeren profielbalken die evenwijdig aan de sporen lopen. Dwars op de sporen wordt de overkapping gedragen door drieëntwintig driedelige Polonçeauspanten waarvan steeds het middelste het grootste is. Elk van de spanten wordt gedragen door een viertal gietijzeren kolommen, voorzien van een gedeeltelijk gecanneleerde schacht. In totaal zijn er dus tweeën negentig kolommen die de spanten ondersteunen. Aan weerszijden van de bebouwde gedeelten van het perron bevinden zich in totaal tweemaal twaalf kolommen waarvan de ijzeren liggers aan de bebouwde zijde rusten op bewerkte kunststenen voluutvormige consoles, die zich ter hoogte van de segmentbogen in het muurwerk bevinden. Totaal zijn er honderdzestien gietijzeren kolommen. Hiervan zijn er vier ten behoeve van de in 1888 gebouwde luchtbrug verwijderd. De kolommen zijn voorzien van de naam van de fabriek en van een datering ("LJ ENTOV & Co., 's Hage 1885" = de bekende ijzergieterij van L.J. Enthoven). In 1888 werd de perronoverkapping verlengd.

Description
PLATFORM CANOPY (C), with a slightly curved roof shape interrupted in the middle by the main building. The platform canopy is of the standard type for a second-class station of the State Railways and is nowadays entirely covered with corrugated sheeting. This corrugated sheeting rests on iron profile beams running parallel to the tracks. Running across the tracks, the canopy is supported by twenty-three three-part Polonceau trusses, of which the middle one is always the largest. Each truss is supported by four cast-iron columns, furnished with a partially fluted shaft. In total there are thus ninety-two columns supporting the trusses. On either side of the built-up sections of the platform there are in total twelve columns on each side, of which the iron beams rest on worked artificial stone volute-shaped consoles, which are located at the height of the segmental arches in the masonry. In total there are one hundred and sixteen cast-iron columns. Of these, four have been removed for the footbridge built in 1888. The columns are furnished with the name of the factory and a date ("LJ ENTOV & Co., 's Hage 1885" = the well-known iron foundry of L.J. Enthoven). In 1888 the platform canopy was extended.
