Omschrijving
Eenlaags BIJGEBOUW (B).
Noordelijk op het perron gelegen, bevindt zich onder
de overkapping een rechthoekig bouwvolume dat evenals het hoofdgebouw in
baksteen is opgetrokken en waarin met het station overeenkomstige
detailleringen en materiaalgebruik is toegepast. De raam- en deurinvullingen
zijn op een aantal plaatsen nog origineel (zes-ruits schuiframen en deuren
met getoogde enkelruits bovenlichten).
Waardering
BIJGEBOUW bij station (B), gebouwd in 1886.
- Van architectuurhistorisch belang als goed en gaaf voorbeeld van een
bijgebouw bij een station uit de tweede helft van de 19de eeuw uitgevoerd in overwegend
neo-renaissance stijl.
- Van stedenbouwkundig belang vanwege zijn ligging tussen twee
belangrijke sporen, op het traject 's-Hertogenbosch - Utrecht en Tiel -
Gorinchem. Het in omvang bescheiden gebouw vormt een relatie met de overige
onderdelen.
- Van cultuurhistorisch belang. Als voorbeeld van een weinig

Single-storey ANCILLARY BUILDING (B).
Located to the north on the platform, beneath the canopy there is a rectangular building volume which, like the main building, is constructed in brick and in which detailing and material use corresponding to the station has been applied. The window and door infills are in a number of places still original (six-light sash windows and doors with segmental single-light fanlights).
