GEBOUW F Inleiding
Aan de noordzijde van de gieterij (gebouw G) is met enige tussenruimte in 1895 gebouw F gebouwd. Het gebouw is samengesteld uit het EXHAUSTERLOKAAL/ POETSAFDELING met, opnieuw enige tussenruimte, de droog- en fijnSLIJPERIJ en keurkamer. In de periode 1927-1938 is de ruimte tussen gieterij en exhausterlokaal/poetsafdeling dichtgebouwd als uitbreiding van het exhausterlokaal/poetsafdeling. In de periode na 1938 is het gedeelte tussen het exhausterlokaal/poetsafdeling en de slijperij dichtgebouwd ten behoeve van de slijperij.
Het gebouw maakt deel uit van de ten dele gesloten oostelijke gevelwand van de fabrieksstraat Olde Hutstraat
Omschrijving
Het pand is gebouwd op een in wezen rechthoekig grondplan met een afgeschuinde oostzijde en telt één bouwlaag onder een plat dak. Met name de westgevel heeft een representatieve uitstraling. Met uitzondering van een gedeelte van de oostgevel grenzen de overige gevels of hebben gegrensd aan andere bebouwing en zijn niet zodanig ontworpen.
De WESTGEVEL is opgetrokken in roodbruine baksteen en wordt verticaal geleed door gemetselde pilasters. Ter hoogte van de daklijst worden deze pilasters onderling verbonden door een in reliëf uitgemetselde lijst ter beëindiging van het gevelvlak. De indeling per travee is verschillend, mede veroorzaakt door diverse wijzigingen. Er zijn traveeën die een segmentboogvormig, ijzeren raam bevatten met een roedenverdeling, soms verschillend van afmeting; traveeën met rechthoekige ramen; traveeën waar de ramen zijn vervangen door een deur en er zijn blinde traveeën. Door de verticale geleding vormt deze westgevel ogenschijnlijk een samenhangend geheel, maar toont in feite een rommelig beeld door de diversiteit in de traveebehandeling.
Het gedeelte van de OOSTGEVEL dat zichtbaar is, heeft eveneens een verticale geleding en wordt door gemetselde pilasters in zes traveeën gedeeld. Per travee is een slank, segmentboog-vormig, ijzeren raam met roedenverdeling geplaatst. Het gevelvlak wordt beëindigd met een in reliëf gemetselde daklijst. Gietijzeren kolommen ondersteunen de I-balken waarop houten kinderbalken rusten.
Waardering
- Van architectuurhistorisch belang vanwege het goede en redelijk gave voorbeeld van een fabrieksgebouw uit 1895. Het eenlaagse fabriekspand bezit in het platte dak bijzondere rupslantaarns.

BUILDING F Introduction
On the north side of the foundry (building G), building F was constructed in 1895 with some intervening space. The building is composed of the EXHAUSTER ROOM / POLISHING DEPARTMENT with, again some intervening space, the drying and fine GRINDING SHOP and inspection room. In the period 1927-1938 the space between the foundry and exhauster room/polishing department was filled in as an extension of the exhauster room/polishing department. In the period after 1938 the section between the exhauster room/polishing department and the grinding shop was filled in for the benefit of the grinding shop.
The building forms part of the partly closed eastern facade wall of the factory street Olde Hutstraat.
Description
The building is erected on an essentially rectangular ground plan with a chamfered east side and comprises one storey under a flat roof. In particular the west facade has a representative character. With the exception of a section of the east facade, the remaining facades either border or have bordered on other buildings and are not designed as such.
The WEST FACADE is built in reddish-brown brick and is articulated vertically by brick pilasters. At the height of the roof line these pilasters are connected to one another by a moulded relief-brick list to terminate the facade surface. The arrangement per bay is different, also caused by various alterations. There are bays containing a segmental-arch-shaped iron window with glazing bars, sometimes varying in size; bays with rectangular windows; bays where the windows have been replaced by a door and there are blind bays. Through the vertical articulation this west facade appears to form a coherent whole, but in fact shows a muddled appearance due to the diversity in bay treatment.
The section of the EAST FACADE that is visible likewise has vertical articulation and is divided into six bays by brick pilasters. Per bay a slender, segmental-arch-shaped iron window with glazing bars is placed. The facade surface is terminated with a relief-brick roof line. Cast-iron columns support the I-beams on which wooden secondary beams rest.
Valuation
