Dit 19de eeuwse BAKHUIS is thans in gebruik als berging. Het vrijstaande object staat direct tegenover het woongedeelte van de boerderij. Het bakhuis is in de jaren dertig en jaren vijftig van de 20ste eeuw uitgebreid met respectievelijk een varkensschuur aan de rechter zijde en een stal voor kalveren aan de achterzijde. Deze toevoegingen vallen buiten de bescherming.
Het bakhuis heeft één bouwlaag en zolderverdieping op rechthoekig grondplan. De in kruisverband gemetselde GEVELS zijn langs de schuine zijden voorzien van vlechtwerk. Rechte muurankers markeren de zoldervloer. De uitgespaarde muuropeningen worden afgesloten door rollagen. De korte voorgevel is gericht naar het woongedeelte van de boerderij. De asymmetrische gevelindeling bestaat uit een ingang met opgeklampte deur links, een vierruits schuifraam met verwijderd luik rechts, en een groot zolderluik op de verdieping (opslag takkenbossen voor het stoken van de oven en de sopketel). Boven het zolderluik is een gedenksteen ingemetseld (het opschrift is niet meer leesbaar). In de linker zijgevel bevindt zich een identiek vierruits schuifraam. De rechter zijgevel en de achtergevel gaan schuil achter later toegevoegde stallen. Het zadeldak is gedekt met rode Mulden en oud-Hollandse pannen. De RUIMTELIJKE INDELING van het bakhuis bestaat uit één ruimte op de begane grond en een zolder. Tegen de achterwand bevindt zich een schouw over de gehele breedte. De houten schouwbalk is geprofileerd. De oven in de achterwand is dichtgemetseld. Wel staat hier nog een hout gestookte sopketel opgesteld. In de hoek aan de rechter voorzijde staat een waterpomp met natuurstenen spoelbak. Het plafond bestaat uit een enkelvoudige balklaag.
Waardering
BAKHUIS uit de 19de eeuw.
- Van architectuur- en cultuurhistorische waarde als typologisch goed voorbeeld van een eenvoudig bakhuis met een betrekkelijk gaaf bewaard gebleven interieur. - Van stedenbouwkundige waarde als onderdeel van een traditioneel kleinschalig boerderijcomplex dat als ensemble van belang is vanwege de hoogwaardige kwaliteit en compleetheid van de samenstellende onderdelen. Het object is gesitueerd op de grens tussen het beschermd dorpsgezicht Leur en het waardevolle landgoederen-gebied van het Huis te Leur. - Van cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een culturele, sociaal-economische, landschappelijke en bestuurlijke ontwikkeling; in casu het onderdeel uitmaken van de oude heerlijkheid Leur die tot op heden nog veel oude bezits- en beheerslijnen kent.

This 19th-century BAKE HOUSE is now used as storage. The freestanding object stands directly opposite the dwelling section of the farmhouse. The bake house was enlarged in the 1930s and 1950s with a pig sty on the right side and a calf stall on the rear respectively. These additions fall outside the protection.
The bake house has one storey and an attic storey on a rectangular ground plan. The brick FACADES laid in Flemish bond are provided with wattle along the sloping sides. Straight wall anchors mark the attic floor. The recessed wall openings are closed off by soldier courses. The short front facade is oriented towards the dwelling section of the farmhouse. The asymmetrical facade arrangement consists of an entrance with clamped door on the left, a four-light sash window with removed shutter on the right, and a large attic shutter on the upper storey (storage of bundles of twigs for stoking the oven and the soap kettle). Above the attic shutter a commemorative stone has been built in (the inscription is no longer legible). In the left side facade there is an identical four-light sash window. The right side facade and the rear facade are hidden behind later added stalls. The gabled roof is covered with red Mulden and old Dutch tiles. The SPATIAL LAYOUT of the bake house consists of one room on the ground floor and an attic. Against the rear wall is a flue spanning the full width. The timber chimney beam is moulded. The oven in the rear wall is blocked up. There is still a wood-fired soap kettle set up here. In the corner at the right front stands a water pump with a natural stone slop tray. The ceiling consists of a simple beam layer.
Valuation

- Of architectural and cultural-historical value as a typologically good example of a simple bake house with a relatively well-preserved interior. - Of urban planning value as part of a traditional small-scale farmhouse complex which as an ensemble is of importance because of the high-quality and completeness of its constituent parts. The object is situated on the border between the protected village scenery of Leur and the valuable landed estates area of the Huis te Leur. - Of cultural-historical value as a particular expression of a cultural, socio-economic, landscape and administrative development; in this case being part of the old seigniory of Leur which to this day still retains many old ownership and management lines.
