Omschrijving
Deze houten vijfroedige SCHUURBERG dateert uit de tweede helft van de 19de eeuw en is in 1927 hier geplaatst (afkomstig van boerderij De Mariënwaard te Beesd). Het vrijstaande object bestaat uit een vijfzijdige schuur waarop een bergplaats voor hooi.
De schuur heeft houten wanden van gerabatte delen op een gemetselde plint. De tegenover de boerderij gelegen zijde is voorzien van een opgeklampte dubbele deur. Middenin de schuur is een forse pijler in baksteen opgetrokken (koppenverband). De pijler ondersteunt de uiteinden van twintig balken, vier naar elke zijde. Op deze balken ligt de slieten zoldering van de bergplaats. De open bergplaats bestaat uit vijf hoge palen (roeden) waarin om de ca. 30 cm. een gat is gemaakt. Het riet gedekte tentdak met rondhouten sporen kan gat voor gat en roede voor roede opgevijzeld worden.

SCHUURBERG uit de tweede helft van de 19de eeuw.
- Van architectuur- en cultuurhistorische waarde als typologisch goed en gaaf voorbeeld van een houten vijfroedige schuurberg met de dubbelfunctie stalling (onderbouw) en opslag voor hooi (bovenbouw).
- Van stedenbouwkundige waarde als onderdeel van een traditioneel kleinschalig boerderijcomplex, dat als ensemble van belang is vanwege de hoogwaardige kwaliteit en compleetheid van de samenstellende onderdelen. Het object is gesitueerd op de grens tussen het beschermd dorpsgezicht Leur en het waardevolle landgoederen-gebied van het Huis te Leur. - Van cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een culturele, sociaal-economische, landschappelijke en bestuurlijke ontwikkeling; in casu het onderdeel uitmaken van de oude heerlijkheid Leur die tot op heden nog veel oude bezits- en beheerslijnen kent.

Description
This timber five-rood BARN LOFT dates from the second half of the 19th century and was placed here in 1927 (originating from the farmhouse De Mariënwaard at Beesd). The freestanding object consists of a five-sided barn with a hayloft storage above it.
The barn has timber walls of rebated parts on a rendered plinth. The side facing the farmhouse is provided with a clamped double door. In the middle of the barn a substantial brick pillar has been constructed (English bond). The pillar supports the ends of twenty beams, four to each side. Upon these beams lies the slatted flooring of the hayloft. The open hayloft consists of five tall posts (roods) in which a hole has been made approximately every 30 cm. The thatch-covered tent roof with round timber purlins can be jacked up hole by hole and rood by rood.
Valuation
BARN LOFT from the second half of the 19th century.
- Of architectural and cultural-historical value as a typologically good and well-preserved example of a timber five-rood barn loft with dual function of stalling (base level) and hayloft storage (upper level).
- Of urban planning value as part of a traditional small-scale farmhouse complex, which as an ensemble is of importance because of the high-quality and completeness of its constituent parts. The object is situated on the border between the protected village scenery of Leur and the valuable landed estates area of the Huis te Leur. - Of cultural-historical value as a particular expression of a cultural, socio-economic, landscape and administrative development; in this case being part of the old seigniory of Leur which to this day still retains many old ownership and management lines.
