5. HEKWERK met WACHTHUISJES
Omschrijving
Het HEKWERK bestaat uit velden tussen rechthoekige gietijzeren staanders met geprofileerde knop. Elk veld heeft rechthoekige spijlen met gegoten pijlpunten, verbonden door twee horizontale banden met gebogen ornamenten aan de boven- en onderzijde van elke spijl. De vier dubbele toegangshekken zijn op dezelfde wijze vormgegeven, maar hebben een gezwenkte bovenrand. Het hekwerk is bevestigd op een met hardstenen platen afgedekte voetmuur. De toegangshekken bevinden zich tussen gemetselde hekpijlers. De hekpijlers hebben een hardstenen plint, speklagen, waterlijst en een bekroning van kantelen. Bij de twee ingangen voor de hoofdgebouwen zijn de pijlers breder en bevatten zij rondboogvormig afgesloten wachtnissen.

5. FENCING with GATEHOUSES
Description
The FENCING consists of panels between rectangular cast-iron stanchions with moulded knobs. Each panel has rectangular spikes with cast arrow points, connected by two horizontal bands with curved ornaments at the top and bottom of each spike. The four double access gates are shaped in the same way, but have a curved upper edge. The fencing is fixed on a base wall covered with hardstone slabs. The access gates are located between mortared fence piers. The fence piers have a stone plinth, lime mortar joints, drip moulding and a crenellated coping. At the two entrances to the main buildings, the piers are wider and contain round-arch-shaped waiting recesses.
Valuation
